We’re just one month into 2024. And the year still has a lot of big events coming to central Pa.

From concerts to comic-cons, there is a wide range of events planned in the area.

Here’s a full list of shows, concerts conventions and more coming to central Pa. over the next 11 months.

February

Blake Shelton - Giant Center, February 22, 7 p.m.

Alongside chart-topping country musician Dustin Lynch and emerging country artist Emily Ann Roberts, Blake Shelton is stopping in Hershey at the Giant Center during the second leg of his “Back To The Honky Tonk Tour,” which is presented by Kubota. With great hits like “Austin” and “Mine Would Be You,” fans of the country singer should grab tickets for next month’s concert.

Boyz II Men - American Music Theatre, February 23, 8 p.m.

Performing at the American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster, Boyz II Men will return to Pa. this February. Getting their start in Philadelphia, the Boyz II Men members toured worldwide and have made hits with top artists like Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson. Fans of the iconic group should prepare for “One Sweet Day” by listening to their favorite songs and refreshing those lyrics.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Capital BlueCross Main Stage February 24-March 16

Based on the book by Hugh Wheeler, Sweeney Todd, and his “hair” cutting skills will be making their way to Pa. at Open Stage’s Capital Bue Cross Main Stage, 25 N Court Street, Harrisburg, starting in February. The intense and high-energy musical will begin to offer two chances to see the show, with performances at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 2:00 p.m. Sweeney Todd is a two-hour and thirty-minute show plus one 15-minute intermission and tells the story of a barber with quite the sinister hobby. Tickets range from $35 to $40, and they do offer discounted student rates at $20.

Harlem Globetrotters 2024 World Tour - Giant Center, February 25, 3 p.m.

Presented by Jersey Mike’s Subs, the Harlem Globetrotters will be slam-dunking their way to PA next month at the Giant Center, 550 Hersheypark Dr, Hershey. Get ready for a night of twists and turns and exciting plays as they show off their many trick shots and hard-to-replicate ball-handling skills. The Harlem Globetrotters have been taking over the basketball world since 1993 and will continue throughout their 2024 world tour.

Wheel of Fortune LIVE! - Santander Arena, March 5, 7:30 p.m.

Get ready to win that fortune during this live event at the Santander Arena, 700 Penn Street, Reading. Guests will be randomly selected to spin a replica of the iconic wheel during the show, with the chance to win prizes like a trip to Paris or Hawaii or up to $10,000. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets can be bought beforehand.

5th Annual Central Pennsylvania Music Awards and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony - Hershey Theatre, March 28, 7 p.m.

Sponsored by The Englewood and held at the Hershey Theatre, 5 E Caracas Ave, Hershey, this annual red carpet is a night for local artists to be recognized for their musical contributions. Described as the “local Grammys,” the ceremony and Hall of Fame induction is set to be the “biggest” night in the local music scene. Doors will open at 5 p.m.; attendees are encouraged to wear their “best band attire” or evening formal wear to walk their red carpet.

Disney on Ice Into the Magic! - Giant Center, March 28-31

The magic of Disney and all of its characters are making their way to the Giant Center, 550 Hersheypark Dr, Hershey, for four days this March. With appearances from characters like Belle, Moana, and everyone’s favorite sister duo, Elsa and Anna, there will be plenty of adventure and magic for all. This family-friendly event has multiple times to see the show during their fun in Hershey, and more information on timing and tickets can be found through the link above.

Paw Patrol Live!: The Great Pirate Adventure - Santander Arena, April 9-10

Ryder and his team of pirate pups will sail into Reading at the Santander Arena, 700 Penn Street, for a fun-filled rescue mission to save Captain Turbot from an unknown cavern. This treasure-filled adventure will also include appearances from fan favorites like Mayor Humdinger and Chase Marshall, and the pups will get an extra boost of help from the newest team member, Tracker. The Price is Right Live - Hershey Theatre, April 16, 7:30 p.m.

Test your shopping knowledge during the live tapping of this iconic game show. Celebrity host Todd Newtown will randomly select contestants to play classic games like Plinko and Cliffhangers to win amazing prizes like a brand-new car or a dream vacation. The games will begin at 7:30 p.m., and the official contestant registration form and to purchase tickets online.

Spring Carlisle - Carlisle Pa. Fairgrounds, April 17-21

Hemmings presents this event at the Carlisle Pa. Fairgrounds, 1000 Bryn Mawr Road, Carlisle, for five days of automotive treasures and unique vendors. With an astounding 8,100 vendor spaces, you can expect to find anything from rare parts to collectible cars for sale. The daily admission price is $13, with kids 12 and under being free, and if tickets are bought in advance online, they are discounted. The event will run Wednesday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Shrek: The Musical - Hershey Theatre, May 3-4

Inspired by the DreamWorks animated film “Shrek,” this hysterically funny musical brings Shrek and his swamp to the Hershey Theatre, 5 E Caracas Ave, Hershey, this spring. The show will bring all of your favorite characters from the movie to the stage for an exciting chance to see everyone’s favorite ogre in a new light. There are two chances to catch the show once at 7:30 p.m. on May 3 and 1 and 6:30 p.m. on May 4.

9th Annual Hummelstown Hunger Run - Schaffner Park Borough Park, May 11, 10 a.m.

The annual Hummelstown Hunger Race will help the Hummelstown Food Pantry again, offering participants the chance to enjoy a 5K run or walk to raise money for a great cause. The race will start at 10 a.m. at Schaffner Park Borough Park on the Corner of Poplar Ave. and Water St. Hummelstown. Jay Leno with Special Guest Arsenio Hall - Santander Arena, May 17, 7:30 p.m.

Jay Leno has worked in television since the 1970s. He will return to it in his upcoming show at the Santander Arena, 700 Penn ST, Reading, alongside another legendary comedian, Arsenio Hall. The pair will begin their comedy special at 7:30 p.m., which should make for a great night of comedy together.

Proudly PA - Fort Hunter Park, June 8

Alongside support from the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame, The Dauphin County Parks and Recreation hosts this event to acknowledge and celebrate everything great about PA. The festivities will be at Fort Hunter Park, 100 Fort Hunter Road, Harrisburg, from 1-8 p.m. and will feature a day of music, food, wine, craft beer, and vendors selling fantastic products from all over PA. Hootie & the Blowfish - Hersheypark Stadium, June 28

Presented by Live Nation, the pop-rock is out at the Hersheypark Stadium, 100 Hersheypark Dr, Hershey, for their “Summer Camp with Trucks Tour.” In addition to watching the foursome perform, there will be special appearances from rock band Collective Soul and singer and guitarist Edwin McCain. The band will tour across 43 cities this summer.

Horror on Main 2024 - Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel, June 28-30

If Scream and Nightmare on Elm Street are some of your favorite scary movies, this might be the convention for you. Horror on Main is a weekend-long event and will be held at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel, 4650 Lindle Rd, Harrisburg. The event offers the chance to learn more from people who have worked on some of the best horror games, movies, and TV shows. The event also highlights those who are in graphics and comics. Justin Timberlake- Hershey Stadium, July 4

Get ready to “Rock Your Body” to all of Timberlakes greatest hits, embarks on “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour.” Put on by Live Nation, Timberlake will make a stop at the HersheyPark Stadium,100 Hersheypark Dr, Hershey on Independence Day, making this a great way to spend the day off. This marks Timberlakes first tour in the past five years, and will surely be one you can’t miss. Timberlake was last in Hershey back in 2013, alongside hip-hop legend Jay-Z for their “Legends of the Summer” tour.

Janet Jackson - Hersheypark Stadium, July 6

Bringing the “Rhythm Nation” across the nation, the pop sensation will stop at the Hersheypark Stadium,100 Hersheypark Dr, Hershey, this July for her “Together Again” tour. The five-time Grammy-winning artist will also bring iconic hip-hop rapper Nelly as she tours. Tickets for this event will go on sale on January 19 at 10 a.m. Jackson’s tour will be a can’t-miss event here in central Pa. this summer, so don’t wait for “All Nite” to grab your tickets.

2024 York State Fair - York Expo Center, July 19-28

With ten days of fun, games, rides, and music, this state fair is one event you can’t miss. The Fair will be at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave, York. Patrons will also have the opportunity to get tickets for the concerts held during the Fair, which will feature headliners Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Jon Pardi, and Ludacris on their respective days. Foo Fighters - Hersheypark Stadium, July 23

Stopping in the sweetest place on earth, the Foo Fighters " Everything or Nothing at All Tour” will be another event you don’t want to miss. Coming to the Hersheypark Stadium, 100 Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, the iconic band will perform fan favorites like “Rescued” and “Under You” and bring along The Hives and Amyl and the Sniffers. The event is set to begin at 5:30 p.m., and tickets are already on sale.

New Kids On The Block - Hersheypark Stadium, August 3

With over 80 million albums sold throughout their career, New Kids On The Block continues to bask in their success with their upcoming “Magic Summer” Tour. The boy band will make their Hershey debut at the Hersheypark Stadium, 100 Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, alongside Paula Abdul and DJ Jazzy Jeff. With such a long history and great songs like “You Got It” and “Step By Step,” this concert will be one to remember. The concert is set to start at 7:00 p.m.

Green Day will take on Hershey with the help of The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas during the North American leg of the tour. Harrisburg Comic and Pop Con 2024 - Farm Show Complex, August 24-26

Getting their start in 2016, the Four State Comic-Con puts together a convention to bring together everyone who loves comics, anime, games, sci-fi, and more. The convention will take place at the Giant Expo Hall at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, 2300 N Cameron St, Harrisburg. The event will host celebrity guests, panel discussions, and many vendors offering unique products with tons of comics and anime items.
