Wasnt gonna leave a review, but the devs decided to make a new announcement titled "Post Release". In this announcement they talk about the AI slop problem with the game except they dont actually believe it is a problem.

You can read the announcement for yourself if you want the exact details but in short it seems like they see no issue with these low effort games being all over the platform. This game/game platform had protentional but if its just gonna be plagued with soulless games it wont last long just go play roblox if you enjoy that stuff its even free.

Slop exists as a genre now. This is meant to be an engine to make all sorts of games. You will see slop everywhere if its a platform to create anything gaming related. This is the biggest nothingburger complaint. Good stuff will come with time and I'm sure all the great things will be filtered from the bad.

Listen mans I'm not exactly an AI fan either but they've got a point in regards to AI being used by people who literally have ZERO knowledge coding that want to make something. At least in that case they can present SOMETHING lol
So yes, get rid of the terrible slop and the ones made ENTIRELY with AI, but the ones made IN PART with AI that are actually on the better side should stay

"AI is the teacher now. It's how people are going to learn how to program from now on."

It's over, pack it up, the AI circus has turned these guys into clowns. S&Box will die and the devs will do ANYTHING except blame their lack of strictness on AI slop.

Also Roblox is the king of soulless games, dafuq? Each game is a mobile game with how it tries to stuff transactions down your throat. I play S&Box ALL THE TIME, to get AWAY from Roblox and its predatory pedo supporting corporate.

You can go through past announcements and put together a more complete understanding of what they're saying. They're saying that people making games with AI isn't a problem. Not sure if I agree with that either, but I get it. That's much different from thinking AI slop isn't a problem, because AI slop isn't about AI. It's about people lazily using AI when they don't know how to, effectively spamming the database with jack all. S&Box has said before that they intend to have these sorts of games sink to the bottom, and they're already working on that algorithm.
