P-pop excellence continues to make global waves, following the recent awarding of BINI as the latest honorees of the Global Force award at Billboard Women In Music 2026.

BINI mark the second Filipino honorees of the award, following the footsteps of Filipino pop royalty Sarah Geronimo, who was honored as one of the first-ever awardees of Billboard’s Global Force award back in 2024. Speaking exclusively to Billboard Philippines, the “Tala” hitmaker opens up about passing the torch to the Nation’s Girl Group, expressing her admiration for their immense talent, dedication to their craft, and ability to represent Filipino music on the global stage.

“Receiving the Billboard Women in Music Global Force Award is such a meaningful achievement. I once said this award represents courage and hope — courage to break barriers, and hope that Filipino music can reach and inspire the world. Seeing you now carry that message makes us all proud and even more inspired.

Through your passion and dedication, you continue to elevate the Philippine music industry by showing the world the immense talent and heart of Filipino artists.

Thank you for proudly representing our country. Keep shining, and never be afraid to break boundaries and be whoever you want to be as artists. Congratulations again, BINI!”

BINI’s win as Billboard Philippines‘ chosen Global Force awardee follows a series of career-high milestones for them, which includes a historic performance at Coachella 2026, a sold-out musical showcase at the Grammy Museum, and a series of international guestings on multiple American news outlets.

The “Pantropiko” hitmakers recently released their latest EP, Signals, which includes the charting hit track “Unang Kilig,” as well as the viral song “Blush,” which has begun making waves across a multitude of social media platforms.

At this year’s Billboard Women In Music ceremony, BINI were joined by the likes of HUNTR/X, Teyana Taylor, Laufey, Ella Langley, Tate McRae, Zara Larsson, and fellow Global Force honorees, The Beaches, as awardees for the prestigious awards show. Other prolific artists and icons who attended the event included the legendary Dionne Warwick, Kali Uchis, Kim Petras, Coco Jones, Slayyyter, and many more.
