He Paid for Everything, Then Expected Something I Wouldn’t Give
He paid for my lunches, my gifts, even my car. I didn’t realize what he thought he was buying.
When you first start working at a strip club, one of the first things you learn is how valuable a “regular” can be.
A regular is a customer who comes into the club specifically (and regularly) to see you. They spend enough money to make an impression. And when they walk in, your night can change instantly. Sometimes it’s enough money that you don’t even need to stay — you can make what you need and go home early.
Over time, if you see each other enough and both parties feel comfortable to do so, the relationship can move outside the club.
Lunch. Dinner. Shopping.
Things that feel more normal, more relaxed, less naked, and easier than working the floor all night. You don’t have to pay the house fee. You’re not competing with other girls. You’re not chasing conversations that go nowhere.
It becomes simpler. More predictable. And, in a lot of ways, easier money.
When I first started dancing, there was a man who made everything feel easy.
