A club taking over the former Foundation Room is putting the high in hi-fi.

number2. Giant Asian food hall from Hawaii begins construction in Las Vegas.

Asian: authentic and affordable.

With these four words (and 11 syllables), Frank Clark pithily presented the philosophy of Stix Asia, the 18,000-square-foot food hall that began construction this week in the former Sundry food hall at UnCommons in southwest Las Vegas. UnCommons will be the second location for Stix Asia (as in chopsticks), following the 2023 debut of the original in downtown Honolulu. A fall 2026 opening is planned.

number5. Sick New World brings heavy dose of ’90s metal to Vegas — PHOTOS.

The sky opened up, and a whole lot of mosh pits followed suit.

Perhaps it was fitting that heavy cloud coverage greeted the return of heavy music festival Sick New World on Saturday at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, leading to brief showers at the end of the night.

After all, the sounds here leaned toward the dark and overcast.
