It truly takes a village to care for a loved one. While grandpa was a wise financial planner, over the past 18 years, the entire family helped us in many ways to be able to care first for grandma and then grandpa. I know grandpa and grandma would want me to acknowledge this. I am grateful to all of you for helping to make it possible for grandma and grandpa to stay in our family home into advanced age. I want to especially thank my grandparents primary caregivers aunt Bonnie and parents Kay and Mike for their strength, commitment, patience, respect, incredible care and love. Also, grandpa lived as long as he did in part because of the amazing care and wise counsel of his dear friend Dr. Wolf. They will be greeting each other in heaven. Grandma and grandpa were deeply grateful for these blessings and your love.
