I just want to reblog this again because this comic here is just so devastating. Pacifica here died so young; even the Grunkles are still alive to send her cards. Yet she herself knew, in these final moments, that it was time for her to go.
I deliberated very briefly whether in my next-gen should Pacifica be around or have Dipper widowed. But the latter would have removed any opportunities to explore Paz as a loving mother and see her children grow up. So I set aside that idea as an AU instead
