Thank you slop. The problem was my prompts weren't great. With a minimal understanding of the project, I was able to show chatgpt the relevant portion of code in src/main/java/com/tonikelope/megabasterd/MegaAPI.java ; I then told it to do the same thing, but in Python. It actually worked; it decoded the megabasterd_folder_cache JSON file:
