Do Americans eat rice?You’ve told me so much about delicious American food, but I’ve never heard anyone mention rice. In my mind, “America = bread” is such a strong image that I can’t really picture Americans eating rice. In my country, Japan, we have “Tamagokakegohan” rice, which is incredibly popular. For us, it’s just as essential as bread or potatoes — it’s like a lifesaver. So here’s my question: In America, is rice as popular as bread? And how do you guys like to eat rice?
