What is the difference between a TOS (Terminal Operating System) and a YMS (Yard Management System)?
A TOS is designed to equip port terminals to manage loading, unloading, and transshipment operations of containers between ships, as well as organizing container stacks on the docks.
A Yard Management System (YMS) is designed for inland container depots (also called Dry ports).
It manages all operations within depots (Gates, Yard, EMR).
It is much less expensive than a TOS.
How long does Shipzzer integration take for my depot?
The implementation of "Shipzzer depot" in a new yard takes less than 2 weeks.
This time allows for setting up the required tablets, training your team, and completing technical integration.
This can be done on-site or remotely.
It is also necessary to integrate all information related to the yards (users, number and characteristics of bays/spots, EDI flows, customer contracts, labor rates, depot suppliers).
Once setup is complete, migrating your yard inventory to Shipzzer takes less than 4 hours.
How much does a Shipzzer license cost?
Our pricing varies according to several criteria, including:
The size of your depot (yearly unit count : Gate moves) .
