It’s a bit older term for “getting cancelled.” (Know that nothing is new in culture, it just gets amplified by social media with fresh terms)

These days it means to exclude someone from an industry even if only one or a few people have an issue with that person. It's meant to keep very tightly knit groups together and on the same page.

Like others said it's like cancel culture, but instead of by fans it's by industry insiders.

It means Kanye is going against extremely powerful people that control the music/entertainment industry. Now one could state that a lot of folks within the entertainment industry have last names of Israeli descent.
