We were saddened to learn that Marjorie Willits Albright ’39 M.A. ’42 died on Jan. 28 at age 108. Here she is visiting Wellesley’s Astr 206 in Whitin Observatory in 2023. After earning an M.A. in astronomy, Marjorie was a “computer” during World War II, working first at MIT and then at UC Berkeley. A resident of Aptos, Calif., Marjorie was an active volunteer (including for Wellesley, as a class secretary), bridge player, golfer, and artist.
