No hate to Saba but I'd say she does owe fans some type of notice. I use the word owe because this is a job. When you go on vacation at work you put your time in and let your boss know. Why does she get a pass? Not parasocial but why are we setting double standards?
I told myself that if she didnt stream or even make a community post by the next time this renews I would have to cancel it. But this really is such a hard decision for me, I want to keep supporting her, but imo its a little screwed up to just go AWOL without any notice

My only guess is because of a combination of people have gotten used to how frequent Saba's gone on hiatus, especially from her past VTuber identity. Along with being a much more private individual outside of streaming. Considering that she was previously one of the most 1/?

id argue that it was a job when she was under COVER, but shes an indie now. she has more freedom to stream whenever and however she pleases, and that includes randomly going awol. there is no "product" owed to her fans such that she needs to give an update every now and then

I don't know that I'd treat this the same as a regular job, but radio silence is a bit much (just from a courtesy standpoint)
