Thank you all for supporting Leona’s music journey! She’s experienced so much musical growth listening to such beautiful, classic music. We would have never imagined that our home would be filled with so much music from 50,60, and 70 years ago or that Leona would fall in love with heavy metal music!
Leona had the idea of starting this channel to marry it with her music studies. She saw a music review video one day and said “I can do that!!”. So we said.. “Ok.. you can do it and we’ll help you!”. We never imagined she’d have thousands of people listening to her reactions. It’s cool. Not only are the recommendations great, we also learn a lot in the comments with all the wonderful information that you all share about the artists, songs, eras, etc.
She plays multiple instruments and studies music theory, does ear training, etc. Watching these “real” musicians really expands her music ear, helps her understand song construction, etc. It’s a joy to see her musical vocabulary expand and her love for music just growing daily.. It’s also a bit funny to hear an 8 year old walking around the house singing songs like Deep Purple’s “Child in Time”. And now her dad blasts Buckethead all day. This is a man who didn’t really listen to rock music at all and now he jams to heavy metal, daily. It’s insane!
Soon, we’re going to shift our format again by digging a bit deeper into the music and also improving our audio equipment. We always tell Leona to just do your best with everything you do, get a bit better every day, and have fun! So expect better reactions and even more fun! We want to keep exploring great music and have a big 2026.
