Russia was accused of manufacturing an assassination attempt on Hungary’s Orban to help get him elected. Sound familiar? Perhaps they should have.

I don’t know that leaning into the rightwing mano/blogosphere crowd’s ability to reason needs to be a thing. However, I am quite surprised that more people aren’t picking up on the notion that Putin offered to fake Orban’s assassination shortly before his election with the aim of improving his electoral odds. It does lead one to wonder: chicken or the egg?
