We’re Muse games, the devs behind Guns of Icarus, the cooperative airship combat from way back in 2012 during Hurricane Sandy! Over the years, we learned a lot about multiplayer PvP, what makes the Icarus community special, and what it takes to build a true crew-based game.
We wanted to host an AMA to chat about our newest project: Stars of Icarus, a spacefaring successor that takes the Guns of Icarus formula and pushes it into a full 6 Degrees of Freedom sci-fi setting and also hopefully get back in touch with our old Captains and Crew from Guns.
If you’ve never heard of Stars of Icarus…
Stars of Icarus is a co-op PvP game where crews work together to pilot, repair and fight each other aboard spaceships. It’s a fine balance of tactical combat, moment-to-moment teamwork, and the chaos that happens when everything starts breaking at once.
