Just a reminder to folks that on its way to putting this lander down, India did successfully put its second spacecraft in orbit at the Moon. Chandrayaan-2 orbiter will be up there doing science for a year. Lander would only have lasted 2 weeks.

It is now 2 full sols after landed, and still there are no raw images being posted at mars.nasa.gov/mars2020/multi . On every previous Mars mission since the MERs landed in 2004, these pages have given us all views of the daily operations of 's Mars missions.
There's a weird quality to the light in these wheel images from today. Maybe it's just that it's close to sunset. Very pretty.
Fun fact: The upcoming rocket burn that will send toward Mars will intentionally mis-aim just a little bit, to miss Mars. That's because the Centaur upper stage is also going toward Mars but is not sterilized; we don't want it and its microbes to crash into Mars.
New Horizons passed by MU69 an hour or so ago. That’s true regardless of whether the spacecraft did what we asked it to. No matter what, MU69 is forever behind it now.
