The President of the European Council, speaking in Abu Dhabi, stated: "We stand in full solidarity in the face of Iran’s indiscriminate, unjustifiable, and unlawful attacks." This statement has two significant effects: First, it implicitly pardons the American "indiscriminate, unjustifiable, and unlawful" acts of aggression against Iran, which were launched from the territories and airspaces of regional countries. Second, it pardons the regional countries that made their territories and airspaces available to the Americans for these "indiscriminate, unjustifiable, and unlawful" attacks against Iran—whether from fixed bases or mobile missile launchers, the latter exposing the launch areas to Iran's response in self-defense. If Europe wishes to appease, it should do so from its own pocket, not at the expense of the victim of such "indiscriminate, unjustifiable, and unlawful" attacks. Blame the perpetrators and facilitators, not the victims.

I am in Abu Dhabi ahead of a two-day tour of the UAE, KSA, and Qatar, today and tomorrow. I come with three messages for our Gulf partners: ▫️ We stand in full solidarity in the face of Iran’s indiscriminate, unjustifiable, and unlawful attacks. ▫️ We are a reliable partner
