A goodbye from Damien & VGPM
It's with deep regret that this will be my last post via VGPM (Damien here). It is likely VGPM will be closed after this as "I'm fired".
In 2021 I met a person named Ellis Thomas from London, UK. I sold him around 86 XBOX XDK's that had been abandoned by another person at my home. The owner vanished and ignored multiple requests to collect.
After 12 months, I sold them to Ellis on an "AS IS BASIS" i.e no refunds, NOTHING.
The price was £8000 for all. I didn't have an exact count of consoles at the time, and Ellis allowed me to retain parts for return later. These were returned at OLL 22'
Around the same time, a joblot of XBOX XDK's appeared in Canada, Ellis fronted $4000 CAD for them to Obscure Gamers Ltd, he asked me to pay in GBP£ due to the exchange rate. I told him it was easier paying in CAD and getting funds back in CAD for easier tracking (so he got the right cash), he refused. When it came to pay him back, the exchange rate dropped hard. It left around £1500 short, I asked Ellis if he wanted to take the rest from what was owed to me, he said no, and insisted I hold the cash, I asked if I could use it for OLL 22' he said yes.
During this time I learned Ellis was a career criminal, having stolen a million pounds in motorbikes as part of a theft ring he operated.

Things got bad for me personally, my landlord threatened to evict me, trying to claim I was using these consoles all at once as there was once almost 100. Yet only 3 power supplies?
I was also house sitting a friends at this time, so couldn't give Ellis anymore consoles, he insisted on sending people to my home still, so I was forced to go home, and managed to sort around 14 consoles currently valued by his prices at £11,900 on his "VGPM clone" (will go into this later)
Around April 2022, we had the 22 convention via Obscure Gamers LTD which was the precursor to VGPM. It went great, aside from being in distress due to my Autism, and being in pain as my back went.
I told Ellis that night I couldn't give him more consoles due to being unable to stand as I pulled my back badly, which resulted in medical treatment.
He said:
Ellis decided to come anyway, not caring I had hurt myself, and would hurt myself more. He took all the remaining consoles, many of which hadn't been sorted as he refused to give me time or understand I was busy packing my home due to my landlord.
I promised to give him the parts once he brought the cash, as he didn't.
Things got heated, I demanded Ellis returns the two unpaid lots valued at £5000, he refused. I offered for him to pay me for the rest with the £1500 deducted, he refused. I offered to meet in a public place/police station, nothing.
He blocked me, after implying he would send "his people to my home and his people do not like cats" which I deemed a threat.
For those that don't know, I have Autism, I have an disorder known as Intermittent Explosive Disorder (IED) it means I say, and do things I don't mean and cannot control, in simple terms I lose control of my body and I cannot stop.
I posted a comment that's been taken out of context making it seem like I wanted to be racist. I called Ellis a stubborn black thief, which I accept fully is wrong. In any case, I had apologized to Ellis and a settlement was reached (more later).

In 2023, it went to court. I messed up as a LIP meaning I failed to do a witness statement which meant the court ignored most of my evidence.
During the hearing, Ellis brought up the £1500 claiming he "paid me personally" it was proven the "debt" belonged to Obscure Gamers Ltd, which I resigned from in July 2022 to found VGPM, which was publicly stated for months.
In the end, due to not being able to prove an exact count of consoles, the court awarded me over £900, and told Ellis to return 22 consoles he claimed my cat pissed on (in a locked room?) and he found a bug in one, which I apologized for and had told him to return months before.

During the trial, Ellis made no mention of defamation, as I called him a thief (a factual statement in any case, and by the time of the hearing it was statue bared.)
On November 18th, 2023 a settlement was reached, it meant I, nor Obscure Gamers Ltd, or VGPM owed Ellis any debts/fees/costs. It was over.

Since 2023, I've tried to work with Ellis, allowing him to repair consoles, borrow for his "VGPM knock off" which is really a for profit venture going against what VGPM stood for.
Ellis continues to assert VGPM is liable for "calling him a thief" in 2022 via Obscure Gamers Ltd, something the settlement resolved, it didn't exist at the time.
I once when not in my right mind said he could take consoles, I corrected this as soon as I realized. Ellis denies this I said this, however it's on audio.
The next day he changed his mind (again) posting the following:
As you can see, I clearly dispute this, I ask for proof of the debt, to this day he has refused to prove this "debt" which again, goes against the settlement.
40 minutes after this, I called Ellis informing him again, I don't have consent, as I am not in charge of the assets, and in any case VGPM was a CIC and had an asset lock.

Ellis denies this exists, and deflects from it when it's raised, ignoring the contract he has a copy of since last month.
On September 28th, 2025 Ellis came to my home promising to bring items back we requested, he spoke to on the phone for over an hour before taking me home.
On the way back Ellis once again "raised the debt". I told him he signed a contract/settlement and that I didn't have consent to give him items "to keep".
I called my mother, who was a secret trustee, she told him there was no debt and to return VGPM's property. (Valued at over £60,000)
Ellis says I willingly gave them, ignoring her demands, he left in a mood with some of VGPM's property in his car boot.
I have never signed a contract giving him consent, I've only raised issues and asked for evidence to decide. This was ignored.
During the time after he left, I was recording what was said, I ended this when he left.
About 30 minutes later I notice Ellis standing outside mine, he came back demanding we resolve this. I kept saying it's resolved, there's no debt, he signed a settlement he again disputed the call showing he agreed.
He then got nasty, started shouting causing me distress and alarm. My mother, sister, next door, and two people over the road were witness, this lasted over an hour. The police recorded it as harassment but the stupid pigs at later admitted not giving a fuck and didn't review evidence and closed the case.
On other videos, Ellis admits "being loaned" VGPM assets to repair, and others to borrow.

When confronted, Ellis replies as followed:
A few days later, Antoine VGPM's Co-Director also asked him for items back, he again refused.
After this, Ellis leaked videos, under agreement not to publish, he further made rants with "prof" which was 6 images and no valid evidence, calling me a scammer saying I scammed him £1500, that I was "misusing" donations, that VGPM was fake, it was my personal collection.
Since September 2025, Ellis has started stalking me online, watching what I and VGPM done, he started harassing local businesses about me, using things taken out of context, or simply lying such as the £1500 "scam" the judge clearly said wasn't my debt.
When I filed an Ex Parte/Without Notice claim the court failed to do this, and instead listed an inter parties hearing, Ellis proceeded to disclose the court papers online, attempting to get witnesses to change how they feel. One local business told me they were concerned if they worked with VGPM Ellis would start a smear campaign against them too.
During this time, we were planning for unknown to us, Ellis also saw VGPM's discord and told them about the "Racist" comment I had resolved, and apologized for almost 3 years ago.
As a result, we were removed, I've been fired from VGPM while Ellis has snuck his way into 's upcoming events, who are also ignoring us and have refused to return the SEGA Dreamcast SET 2 and 4 prototypes loaned. It kinda all makes sense now, as Debug fucked over OLL in 2023 too.
Am I the only victim? No. Another victim lost almost £6000 due to Ellis, and other victims are too scared to come forward.

Ellis has been making images of my face to intimidate/mock my disability, and encourages others to share which is a hate crime in the UK. didn't even review the evidence.
