Coordination Council recommends Alisa Ryzhychenka for position in UTC

The Coordination Council voted for the recommendation to appoint Alisa Ryzhychenka as the representative of the United Transitional Cabinet on economy and finance.

The candidacy of Alisa Ryzhychenka was nominated by the factions "Latushka Team", "Movement "For Freedom„ and "European Choice".


As many as 49 out of 77 delegates participated in the vote, which ensured a quorum. Thirty-six people voted for the appointment of Ryzhychenka, five voted against, and eight abstained.


The candidate received the greatest support from the factions that nominated her: "Latushka's Team" and "For Freedom" Movement (25 out of 28), "European Choice" (all eight), as well as "Youth Offensive" (five out of eight) and "The Will Bloc" (four out of five). The remaining factions showed less support.


The decision on the recommendation will be submitted to the United Transitional Cabinet.

The position that Tatyana Zaretskaya occupied is fundamentally different from the position that I am taking now, since the tasks and responsibilities are different. I have an economic task: this is the development of an economic security strategy and the development of economic reforms, and not the search for funds for the functioning of the Cabinet, as Tatyana did, Alisa Ryzhychenka commented on her nomination for this position on the YouTube show “Ordinary Morning”.


Alisa Ryzhychenka is a Master of Economics, a specialist in public administration and international development.


Previously the position of the representative of the United Transitional Cabinet on economy was held by Tatsyana Zaretskaya, but since November 2022 this position has remained vacant. Zaretskaya noted that she left the post due to threats and pressure on relatives and business partners (questions arose about the success of her business at that time).
