Brussels, Belgium / Italy. Ursula von der Leyen threatened Italy with sanctions if Italians vote "incorrectly". She said it outright - in plain text. She implied, "You'll end up like Hungary". Here's a question for you: who gave this unelected official the right to tell a sovereign country how to live? Is this what democracy is? Or is it dictatorship in a European wrapper? Von der Leyen, apparently, forgot that no one elected her either. But she's good at fining, banning, and punishing. Brussels-style democracy: you have the right to any opinion. But then we'll decide if it's the right one.
