I mean... I've known Bitchute was part of the operation and no different than any other social media platform. Grateful they allowed free speech for as long as they did, but I believe that was just to collect information on who the true follower's of Christ are so they could collect data and make a list of who to come after when the hammer drops. You know, Noahide laws and all. Plus, they have to shut down everything when things start getting real on our literal doorsteps so we don't have a way to communicate that information to one another. Even CB radios are illegal without a license these days. Old fashioned mail may be the best bet for a short time anyway until even that's removed. Radio, internet, cell phones will eventually be shut down, too, and they will probably claim it was "Iran" who conducted a "cyber attack" on the grid.
I think in 2022 or so I heard Bitchute was really a product of the UK military intelligence. Is it true? Might be, or might not. But, if I were a betting woman, I'd say it definitely is a data collection of some entity.

Why do so many companies have to think they have to fix something that already works great.
Again and again all they wind up doing is making whatever they think they are fixing that already works well.......worse.

Cars and trucks are a perfect example of how they have destroyed personal transportation by making them so complex and undependable that sometimes even the makers can't figure out what is wrong when they malfunction.

They even did that with Mountain Bikes that were at one time a great way to commute in certain cities. It is now almost impossible to find a 21-24-27 speed mountain bike that made going up and down hills a comfort because "they fixed them" so at most the new ones only have 9 to 11 speeds. I have to look for old used ones from 5 or more years back on Craigslist or other sites. They have helped me over the years not become a "slave to my automobile" which like you said are being made so complex and an absolute "cash cow" for those who fix and work on them. For years I had cars that never came with "an engine check light" and I was still able to keep them maintained. Now you cannot get your car through any State inspection with an engine check light on. And every year on older cars the engine check light can go haywire costing thousands for some 'spurious repair" . And do not even mention the constant replacement of a $200.00+ FOB car key so your "Panic Alarm" doesn't go off by itself.

Rumble is indeed clunky. The "Faith/Spiritual" category for videos is only available as a secondary category. You can only select it once you place it under a primary category such as "Entertainment" or "News".

This may may be fine for those that focus on the "Who, What, and How" but those that focus on the "Why" seem relegated to secondary status.

I had to switch to the new BitChute because the old style was becoming increasingly buggy. This thing barely loads anything for me lately so I either download or ignore it. Hopefully the new stuff doesn't come with a gigantic culling but I'm not holding my breath. Archive what you can, folks.

Has it become buggy? I find it works fine almost all the time. I don't even have to put up with ads, if that's still a thing with it. Maybe it depends on regions but maybe it depends on a browsers blocking capabilities. I have several browsers installed that have privacy features. I only run brave but the one i have called Comodo Ice Dragon came with an anti virus which runs in the background. I wonder if that's what helps block the ads here. I also have Epic Privacy browser and again, I don't really use it but it may contribute to helping the situation. Comodo runs in tandem with my windows fire wall it seems. I need to read up on those again.

I imagine it will have varying user experiences depending on things such as you describe. A while back they made the player the same on .old/.api./"new". I switched to "new" and it worked the best for me. I've been using that since. Pretty much nothing buffers worth beans for me in my neck of the world but that's life. There have been a lot of issues I've dealt with over the past few months with the whole site being broken on several occasions. Videos that are less than a minute should never take 5 to watch.

That honestly doesn't surprise me. It feels like this site is held together by duct tape sometimes. I've switched between the P2P and conventional video buffering but they are as equally bad as each other. There's no hope, haha. Let's hope there is nothing more than a site redesign in the works for the short term.
