Void minimal --> s6 --> 66

Sometime today I will attempt a new minimal chroot installation, install s6 and 66 and figure out how to make it boot --> run. It may take some days of fiddling. I am wondering if others care to join me, use this thread as exchange.

Many thanks to all of those who contributed in bringing it to us, I will not name anyone leaving anyone out. I feel like a new door has been introduced and I am eager to explore beyond it.

    You can probably turn most of void-runit core services into s6-rc oneshots or even 66 frontend service files quite easily. http://web.obarun.org/software/frontend.html

    Why is this marked as a spoiler?

    because I hadn't seen an official void announcement of those new packages (66). I had seen s6 and s6-rc and -dev -doc pkgs in the past.
