Chifley College Senior Campus
The Year 2000 was the first year of operation for Whalan Campus as part of Chifley College. Whalan Campus became the Senior Campus for all students from Dunheved, Shalvey, Mt Druitt, Bidwill and Whalan. This significant change enabled students, staff, parents and community members to create a learning community geared towards an adult learning environment. Significant features of the Senior Campus (years 11 and 12) include extensive curriculum for seniors, adult style learning environment, HSC tutoring and enrichment programs and direct links with Mt Druitt TAFE.

The Department undertakes preventative and routine maintenance every year, and repairs as needed. The Department also reviews the planned maintenance program for each school every year and reviews those items that are predicted to require work to help prolong the life of the school buildings and facilities.
