Installing windows VST's with playonlinux/wine?
Hello, so i've surprisingly got FL Studio 12 working perfectly on arch with a custom installation through play on linux, and I was wondering if it would be possible to get VST's working with it as well. All of the included plugins it came with work perfectly so I can't see how it's not possible, but I couldn't find information on the internet. Thanks for your help!
So far i've tried installing native Instrument's Massive and it seems to be working with the stand alone version but the VST plugin it says it can't find the resource files and it failed to load.

Some will work and some won't just like everything else with Wine. A lot of DRM based plugins will probably break, but sometimes cracked versions will work instead due to the lack of the DRM components. Sometimes different versions will work instead, like 10.1 of whatever may break, but 10.0 and 10.2 will work fine. DLL overrides may help with certain plugins but may break others. A lot of it will just be trial and error to figure out what works. A lot of free plugins worked for me last time I tried this.
Thanks for the reply, i've got 8GB's of free and cracked VST's so i'll keep experimenting and see what I can do.

This is the answer I needed, i was literally about to overwrite my glorious arch partition with windows just so I could have things running proper. Thank you so much.
You may experience Kontakt (if you happen to use it) burden while loading into Carla though.
Anyway this involves a lot of trial and error. Windows VST's are infamous for crashing host DAW you know.
