Principal's message
At Epping Boys High School, our culture of high expectations is underpinned by an educational purpose where learning and wellbeing are intrinsically linked. We strive to provide a supportive and challenging environment for all students to thrive and achieve their best.
Epping Boys High School has a long tradition of academic excellence, a High Potential and Gifted Education Program, a high level of involvement in representative sport and the creative and performing arts. Extensive leadership development opportunities for students support strong citizenship goals and community connections.
Our School Excellence Plan drives a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practices, where we focus on:
- aspirational learning goals for all students, with continued skill acquisition in literacy and numeracy through explicit teaching strategies
- high quality wellbeing programs that are visible, inclusive and responsive to the needs of all students
- leveraging support for positive access to responsive and individualised transition pathways for our students
We consider it a great privilege to educate our students and greatly value a strong relationship and shared values with our families. We are proud of our school and invite you to explore the many opportunities available.
