A lot of you have brought to my attention Rev and Strawb's lolicon history and I just want to make it abundantly clear I DO NOT CONDONE THAT at all. I think that shit is flat out evil let me be clear.
I'm on the polar opposite side of all that and I just didn't know anything about that when we did the livestream.
The reason I had her on, is because I was talking about her tweets online, and she joined the chat and I wanted to hear her out when it comes to her opinions about promiscuous behavior and social shame. Very simple

Is this the "woke right" I keep hearing about? The rhetoric is getting real close, man. I've seen too many creators feel the need to disavow people they associate with because of purity testing.
Idk what you heard from people. But Rev isn’t a perv and neither is his wife. His stance is “fiction is not reality” and that is towards people who get mad at vtubers who have chibi or loli models. Rev has stated that the only people “sexualizing” this, are the people who think a loli character = child IRL because they can’t fathom a reason for having a loli character for any reason other than evil stuff

Nobody cares about random allegations, people aren't outraged, calm down.
It's not like you were having an "I [Remnant] agree with you [Strawb]" conversation, you were having a good faith conversation where you were trying to bring someone to your beliefs, and to reach the people with problems one must be willing to first talk. I recall "Jesus talked to the bad people in society" coming up regularly, and what a lot of people like to ignore about those passages was He did so to make people realize their wrongs, stop doing those wrongs, and follow Him. Jesus was completely uninterested in preaching to those unwilling to listen, those were the pharisees and scribes.

Just be careful. Based on the wording here, it sounds like you might have been told some misrepresented stuff, if I had to guess. Good video earlier by the way.
Even if these characters have unsavoury opinions on certain topics or have engaged in…niche activities in their past that doesn’t prevent them from also having the right opinions on other topics or engaging in rather wholesome activities at other times.
Whilst someone’s past shouldn’t be ignored it also shouldn’t be a barrier to interaction with them
I feel like most people that keep bringing up all the lolicon stuff are people who don't like Rev and Strawb and aren't interested in validating if the accusations are real or not. Nothing worth accusing, in my book. Doesn't help that "This person is a lolicon!" is one of the first claim made against anyone using anime-like personas by deranged haters who have zero experience with anime. I learned real fast to completely ignore that kind of slander. Wake me up when actual proof hit the internet.
Even then, i don't take anyone who's on the left seriously when they go after that because the likelihood they supported MAPs is far too high and contradictory to their belief
I feel it is a bit unfair to make a post like this without you also acknowledging in this post that I told you I find lolicon (porn) immoral and degenerate, and that I feel all porn is immoral/sinful/wrong. I just don’t believe it is the same as CSEM. That doesn’t mean I “defend” it or think it is good. It most certainly isn’t. My past is my past but I am open about my stance on this and I did explain this to you in DMs last week and you seemed amicable at the very least in the discussion. But seriously, I couldnt care less about the fictional media people consume in their own homes when it doesnt show to have any impact on the number of pdf files in the world or actual children being harmed.
We've got actual real problems to deal with, not this nothing burger.
