VISION Our work
At the MIDAS Foundation, with a portion of the profits of Midas Capital and the Midas group of companies as a permanent source of funding, we are committed to creating a society in which people around the world can make their own life choices. By 2035, we aim to provide opportunities for positive life choices to one million people, and to one hundred million people by 2050, through essential and sustainable social initiatives.

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tokyo. While still a student, he founded the company that would become AirTrip Inc. in 2003, achieving its IPO as Representative Director and President (he has since retired). In 2017, he founded Midas Capital Inc., and led the successive IPOs of his portfolio companies, BuySell Technologies Inc., AViC Inc., and GENDA Inc. Heavily influenced by Bill Gates and Muhammad Yunus, he devised a model for returning business success to social contribution. In 2019, he established the Midas Foundation, a general incorporated foundation (now a public interest incorporated foundation), and became its representative director. With the vision of creating "a society where people all over the world can make their own life choices," the foundation uses a portion of Midas Capital's profits as funding to work on projects that can contribute to society in areas where it can have the greatest impact.

Naoki Hayashi
Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Keio University. Joined Jusco Co., Ltd. (now AEON Co., Ltd.) in 1970, where he served as director, managing director, and senior managing executive officer. He led management in a wide range of fields, including human resources, general affairs, the environment, and developer business, and served as chairman of the board of directors in 2011. He became an advisor to the company in 2014. He has served as a director of the Midas Foundation since 2019.

He completed a master's degree at the Faculty of International Studies, Hanoi National University. After serving as representative of the Japanese subsidiary of FPT Information Systems Co., Ltd., he founded Hybrid Technologies Co., Ltd. in 2016. In 2021, he became the first Vietnamese person to list the company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market. Since 2019, he has served as a director of the Midas Foundation, where he leads projects to improve educational environments in impoverished areas overseas.

Yuko Yoshimura
Graduated from the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration, Toyo University. After working in consulting at Aung Consulting and marketing at GREE, he became a marketing advisor at Marinefood Co., Ltd. in 2017. In 2019, he joined the Midas Foundation from its founding and became its Secretary General. In addition to planning and running domestic projects such as supporting children's cafeterias, he will serve as a director of the NPO Midas & Stork Support from 2024. He will also serve as a director of Tokyo International Progressive School from 2025. At the Midas Foundation, he is primarily involved in special adoption projects, public subsidy projects (children's cafeterias), and overseas educational environment development projects.

Graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo. Engaged in social issue research at Mitsubishi Research Institute, where she has published publications such as "List of Social Issues Expected to be Solved through Innovation (Japanese/English)" (2022, Mitsubishi Research Institute). Joined the Midas Foundation in January 2024 as Director of Operations. In addition to managing the foundation's operations (special adoption projects, projects to eliminate disparities in children's experiences, public grant projects, and projects to improve educational environments in impoverished regions overseas), she also serves as a director of the NPO Midas & Stork Support, providing consultation support to expectant mothers facing difficulties such as unplanned pregnancies, and working on adoption mediation projects. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology.

Makiko Yamazoe
Completed a Master's in Public Administration (Environmental Policy) at Columbia University in the United States. After gaining experience at an IT consulting firm, an auditing firm, and an international environmental consulting firm, she joined Mitsubishi Research Institute after graduate school. She has worked as a consultant specializing in sustainability management for over 10 years. At the same time, she has deepened her knowledge and skills in impact investing and social impact measurement and management (IMM), and joined the Midas Foundation as Chief Impact Officer in January 2025. Having suffered from acute leukemia, she has maintained remission after treatment. She has written a book about balancing work, childcare, and treatment, titled "What if I, a Management Consultant and Working Mother, Get Cancer?" (Toyo Keizai Inc.), and continues to share information on Toyo Keizai Online and elsewhere. She holds a Master's in Public Administration.

Yukiko Kameda
Completed a Master's program in Human Development Science at Ochanomizu University Graduate School. Worked in the Human Resources Department of a Japanese think tank, where she was involved in personnel and labor management, support for balancing work with childcare/elderly care/treatment, DE&I promotion, and health and productivity management. In July 2024, she joined the Midas Foundation as Head of Human Resources. In addition to leading all aspects of human resources, including system design, recruitment, training, and labor, she also utilizes her background in education to work on various domestic projects, including special adoption programs. She holds a Master's in Social Sciences.

He holds an MBA from UBI Business School in Belgium. After working at Agribank and KPMG Vietnam, he joined Midas Foundation in 2021. He is currently responsible for planning, implementing and supervising projects in Southeast Asia and Bhutan.

Azusa Yumoto
After graduating from nursing school, she worked as a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) nurse, a maternal and child health nurse at a local government, and at a pregnancy support venture company. In March 2024, she joined the Midas Foundation and is now in the Domestic Business Division. Utilizing her experience in the maternal and child health field, she is working on various projects, primarily special adoption projects.
