Hazing- Byron Katie has a tool to help us shift out of programming. As you two actually hazed a womyn while saying you wont haze a womyn. And as you said it came up so quickly , a similar experience. AND it felt SO GOOD !! RIGHT? TO throw HER under the bus, with old patriarchal filters and framing. Old road. Maybe the new road is " her use of suffering , offered a moment of vulnerability or HERSTORY. Maybe we stop and ask her , what was her experience. This path of what is wrong? Not what is wrong with HER? This walk OUT is mired in patriarchy landmines. No ones fault, as it is thousands of years old. And it is these open, homest discussions that help us ALL pull out old weeds. Some we see and some she sees. Community ❤💙 Onward 🦋 This is such a wonderful video, and offers so much ❤💙 💜 My goodness. ❤

So glad our conversation resonated, Lauretta! As you said, Community ❤💙 Onward 🦋 !!
I was grateful 🙏 to find this video. More womyn shifting towards democracy for HER, too. Dr Valerie was a leader and bridge through the deprgramming and helping to understand so much around patriarchy and oppression. It is so interesting on this journey OUT how we are WIRED to blame females. We are FEMALE. This internalized misogyny has the world programmed to blame "HER". If SHE speaks up, or NOT- something IS "her" fault. Too much or not enough. Even the moms that have survived patriarchy- all that was put on HER to shoulder, while being judged and criticized and oppressed. Letting males off the hook, or praising them for the smallest effort. "Wow, he changed a diaper" BRAVO, bring out the cheerleaders. Mom, oh look , the diapers aren't biodegrade, put on too tight or too lose, or not changed enough or too much --- and then when we females grow up to be womyn , we then use this same patriarchal/ misogynistic/ oppressive filter and framing to blame mom's. The female. The womyn. " Women cannot respect their mothers in a society which degrades them; women cannot respect themselves." Adrienne Rich. THRIVING as we shift out , and deprgram , requires a NEW path, one that does NOT oppress other females even mom's- especially mom's- because if we do it honoring HER walk and surviving as long as she was able, we then honour ourselves and our journey. And... Scapegoating is not a healthy path, either. It IS sanctioned and supported- and trending. Nothing NEW here. Patriarchy has always required us to blame females. Not hold men to any account , but kings. Bravo for reaching to deprogram. We do it little by little , on the shoulders of many brave females before us, that survived patriarchy and dared to do something towards democracy- equal respect, equal regard, equal voice. As you said, this walk is HARD. Bravo to your leadership and courage 🏆 🏆 🏆 Onward 🦋
