How is America losing to iran
>>
Iran has already lost the war, dipshit. Right now we are deciding whether or not to completely wipe them off the map or not.
>>
>>947791839 (OP)

In asymmetrical warfare the lowest funded group usually wins because of bloat and corruption just like Vietnam, so think of America always losing these kinds of wars because it's always an unwinnable 2 fronted war against itself .

The same has been witnessed in Europe and China wars that tend to lose to lower funded enemies .
>>
>>947791999

I dunno where you live but Americans consider it a loss of attrition for many years to come . The war isn't gonna end for many years and the US will be losing just like Vietnam .
>>
>>947791999
>we're winning
>send help
>>
America looses wars because of “rules of engagement” and other such political nonsense. Loss of support by the people. No clear objectives. Lack of brutality or ability of the populace to accept the brutality of war etc.

Trump doesn’t really strike me as a typical politician president who gives a fuck about all that. He just likes to win. His objective is not to win the war, it’s to annihilate Irans ability to do anything outside their borders, cripple their ability to make nuclear weapons, destroy their ballistic missile production and bankrupt their economy/ ability to fund the IRGC.
Those objectives are nearly met.
>>
>>947793241
Stop it Charlie Kirk told me before he died this was a Trump stronghold
You stop it right now
>>
>>947794201

I mean, that's kind of winning the war. Your enemy isn't supposed to rebuild. If they do, you failed your mission. i.e. Japan, Iraq
>>
>>947794201
Trump just takes orders from his masters in Israel. Americans will continue to spend billions, lose their equipment, and their lives until Israel is satisfied.
>>
Iran is winning because America is currently being ran by a fucking moron with shit for brains
>>
>>947794201

it doesn't matter muslims will still flood the world . The entire point of the war.

Iran won already . Bin laden and Iraq won decades ago. Americans say this and know when they're beat . Even the absolute stupidest don't believe fake news it's too unrealistic
>>
>>947791839 (OP)

No purpose or plan, rooted in the Republican rejection of information and expertise. It's why Hegseth is firing generals. He doesn't understand that career officers with combat experience know more about fighting was than he or Trump.
>>
>>947794201
America is laying for its mass support of Islam in the 90s.
>>
>>947795223
Those generals bought into Galulan tactics hook, line and sinker. Theyre why the US lost in Afghanistan.

Because China is waging a proxy war with the US through Iran to gauge their military strength. Iran is literally setting the stage for them taking Taiwan.
>>
>>947792186
That's not how Vietnam happened at all but your take is still better than what most people know about the war.
>>
>>947792211
>I know what Americans think
You can barely even type in English. Nobody in America even cares about the war or any war past the first week. News cycle has moved on. Larp job fail.
>>
>>947791839 (OP)
Trump and Hegseth are idiots.
>>
>>947798331
>China is waging a proxy war that was started by the US a few weeks ago
>Taiwan
The amount of US military assets for Iran is nowhere near what it would be for a Taiwan invasion.

Jesus Christ, watching people talk about this shit is painful. They don't even know first day shit. It's like discussing gun control and the person thinks AR stands for assault rifle.
>>
>>947792186
That's a hilarious way to remind people that America ties its hands behind its back just for the idea of playing nice

Imagine if they truly were as careless as a country thay doesn't treat its own people as human.
>>
You do understand that the US could completely wipe Iran off the map if they wanted to right? They could destroy all of their power and oil factories, They could drop MOABs and firebombs on every corner of every city, but millions of innocent civilians would die, and clearly that isn't the goal. You think if Iran had the ability to attack the USA on their soil that they would try and spare civilians?
>>
>>947791839 (OP)
They anticipated Iranians would rise up to overthrow the regime, which didn't happen. They severely underestimated Iranian will to resist. Every day is another billion dollars. The Iranians have taken far more casualties, but this isn't a war of attrition for them. I'm no fan of the regime but there's no way the US can salvage this fuckup. They've alienated allies and pushed ME friendlies into the line of fire. I won't even try to imagine the eventual blowback. And for what?
>>
>>947798734
I think there's alot of truth in this, but kinda missing a key point for me.
I think they waited too long, were way too slow on the trigger. The iranian government killed 45k people, the people who were protesting and calling for regime change. Those were the people who needed to be armed and would of risen up. People are not all the same, a small fraction of people have the balls/agency to act, even smaller fraction in a naturally submissive/weak minded ethnic group. Waiting so long allowed the dictatorship to mow the tall grass. If they had air dropped weapons to the protestors, and began hitting military targets like a month earlier I think it's likely there would already be a complete regime change by now.
>>
>>947791839 (OP)
you'd have to be genuinely retarded to think they are
they do nothing but posts memes and ai slop
>>
>>947794201
Trump isn't your typical President which is why he's so bad and ill equipped at his job.
>>
>>947791839 (OP)
Imagine thinking that this is real. Imagine thinking that the language that they're using on images and speaking in the Iranian war room is English.

/Thread

Virtually every war since WW2 has been decided by rules of engagement in some manner. When one side pulls punches and the other not only doesn't pull punches, they bring a knife and yet the one pulling punches is still fucking them up, it's telling.

Western countries have the ability to completely flatten the majority of the planet with exceptions of nuclear states. The only thing stopping that is bureaucratics, the same bureaucratics that are an unelected elite that will keep their family away from the wars where their rules get men and women killed.

>When one side pulls punches and the other not only doesn't pull punches
If you notice, Iranians during this conflict have been following a tit-for-tat policy fairly consistently.

You want to be a nigger and target their power plants, their water purification facilities?
They're gonna do the same to the gulf states. Destroy a few desalination plants, millions of people in UAE and Saudi Arabia will be without water in just about two weeks.

Want to target their oil production? They'll do the the same and assrape the entire world for a dozen years or more.

They could do any of this but they're not because they don't want to escalate. If you escalate, you might kill them but they'll hit back just as hard before they go.

>Iranians during this conflict have been following a tit-for-tat policy fairly consistently

How many leaders have they killed? Any sort of important people?
>>
>>947801229
Given that the Islamic Republic hasn't collapsed, do you think any of their dead officials were all that important? Larijani especially was a huge score, but nothing has really changed other than the US looking so impotent even their leader is having a tantrum and openly threatening to commit war crimes.
>>
>>947791999
>We're completely fucking up and making enemies with Iran because nettenyahoo doesn't like them while destabilizing world oil supply and fucking literally everyone
>We'Re WiNnInG

Lol
Lmao even
>>
>>947801105
The only reason they're able to hit back is because of ROE.
Remove all ROE and every city they think anyone important is in is flattened. Anywhere they launch a missile or drone from is a crater.

Iran is able to cause damage because bureaucrats are holding the US back. Because the US President, the generals and soldiers will be prosecuted for some bullshit rule that puts their life at risk.

The entire purpose of this war is precisely because of bureaucrats. Iran wants to build nuclear weapons, they don't have bureaucrats and as such, the full extent of control and damage a nuclear state can produce would become a reality outside of a world war.
If Iran gets a nuclear weapon it'll be bad because they have no ROE holding them back.
>>
>>947801641
>bureaucrats are holding the US back
'Cause who wants that? Why woukd we want a group of representatives of thr people to have any say in what yhe president decides to spend their money on, like an endless war. Lordy knows the missile makers are low on funds, so we gotta ise that old tech and upgrade to kill the towel heads with the other oil.

We have to let sovereign countries operate how they want to operate
Iran has literally never enriched for weaponization
They've been enriching for energy production for decades and that's all they care about
Bibi can get fucked

See the problem with most idiots like yourself is that you've completely bought into the red vs blue political show. If you think any of this is related to "information and expertise" then you're not smart enough to have an opinion in the first place.

No strategy, no nothing, just quid pro quo like every other president doing every other bullshit for the last half century
