HUGUES CUENOD (1902-2010 was a Swiss Tenor who was the oldest debutant at The Metropolitan Opera 1987 in the age of 84. Here we see the signed newspaper article from New York from his debut in the new production of Franco Zeffirellis „Turando“ which is still played at the MET until today. Cuenod died 15 years ago December 6. 2010 in Vevey at the age of 108. Click in the pics for better reading.
