We bought a foreclosed alley in San Francisco. It's a real street that cars can drive down! We're auctioning off the naming rights, so whoever bids the most can name it whatever they want.
Street names aren't something you can really buy. This is probably the only time this will ever be possible. Especially in San Francisco, of all places.
Name it after your company, your partner, yourself… We will install a real San Francisco-style street sign on a pole at the corner, and we'll get the name on the big map apps. And we won't rename it or auction it off ever again.
The alley was originally built in the beginning of the 20th century. For some reason, it remained private property. For some other reason, it never got a name. And then it got foreclosed on and now we're the three guys that own it.
We're using the alley as a canvas for a free, internet-designed mural, and doing this auction to fund the entire thing. The highest bidder picks the name.
