I am currently in the market for a new soundbar to pair with my Sony X90J tv. Looking to upgrade from TV speakers and focused on Dialog clarity and improved overall sound quality compared to TV speakers for casual TV show and movie watching experience.
I don’t have much room for rears so looking for a 3.1 or 3.1.2 soundbar. Currently debating between Q600F (CAD $400) and this QS700F (CAD $500) and whether the 100$ increase over Q600F is justified. Considered HWB750D and JBL 500Mk2 but both at CAD $600 are a bit out of budget and feel they’re overkill for my casual needs.
We just finished testing and will be going through the validation process! Early Access results should be available by the end of the week, or early next week at the latest!
Hey Rtings!, Curious if you guys are finishing up a review for the QS700F ! I’m double minded between this model with the upgraded sub or the Q600F which already got good reviews
That’s interesting. I was suspecting they were the same product, with the only difference being the rear speaker. I’m really looking forward to reading the review as well.

Yes, it’s basically the same, I have a qs700f but I’m curious, it was worth buying for the test. So far I like it better than the HW-A650. I’ll wait for the test, if the soundbar stays on top, of course.
In case this product will keep being on top of the voted ones, I wanted to share that there’s as well the HW-QS750F model, which is identical to the HW-QS700F, but including rear surrounds speaker. I purchased it and I’m 100% sure that testing the HW-QS750F you could basically do a test valid for 2 products, the HW-QS750F and the HW-QS700F (just leaving on or off the rear speakers). If you check tech specs you’ll see that the woofer and bar have same product code for both QS750F and QS700F. I would love to read your review about it. Kind regards
