At 108 she was still as sharp as she ever was and had a better memory than I do. She was such a strong woman and such an inspiration to me..

When I was little we spent a lot of time together. I enjoyed spending the night at her house. I remember telling her I had a sore throat so she would make me tea with honey. She was an avid health food enthusiasts and I always gave her a hard time about how much celery she bought.

She helped me get my first job when I was only 15 We worked at the same mall store through most of my high-school years.

When I was older I picked her up in Waukegan every Saturday and brought her to Grayslake to get her hair done and then go grocery shopping. Our favorite was stopping for ice cream on the way to take her home.

She helped me so much through the loss of Jeff.

She lost her first love at the same age I lost mine. Way too soon but her words of wisdom helped me through.

I love her and will miss her for the rest of my life till I can be with her, Jeff and my amazing Dad again.

REST IN PEACE Gramma, I know you are reunited with Grampa and so many others that you have missed so much for so many years.
