6/ GEN-1 is far from perfect. For instance, emergent behaviors are physical actions with real consequences—helpful, but not always.
As our models become more capable out of the box, we aim to improve alignment, to steer them into delivering behaviors that users actually want.
We ran a live demo GTC last week, but the real story is how quickly we got it running.
The system was up and running in days, not weeks.
This is a step toward robots that can be deployed quickly without task-by-task programming.

Then we shipped the robot to our SF office, where we had everything running within a day of arrival and just 3 full work days to do final prep before sending it to GTC.
At GTC, we booted it up and its performance was identical to operating in our offices.
