To show how ridiculous the price on these standee: In the og ad, each standee is priced ¥1760 (RM44.56). If you solo buy it through Buyee, you would pay extra ¥800 or (RM21.27). In total, it would be ¥2560 (RM64.82). But the pop up store hiked the price by nearly 50%.

*50% of the price we would paid if purchase via Buyee Current exchange rate is ¥100 = RM2.53 But even if ¥100 = RM4.00, the price should be around RM102.40 (around ¥4044 with current rate) That's how BAD this pricing is.

If I were to compare it with Niji global store: The birthday standee (¥1760) plus standard shipping of ¥2000 is still significantly cheaper 🥲 Global store: ¥3760 = RM95.13 That popup store: ¥5099 = RM129.02

Back then when Kamen Rider Pop Up Store came by, the price were crazy expensive. Heck, getting one from a personal shopper of mine is cheaper than getting directly at the pop up store

Literally had the same complaint with books in kinokuniya too. 900 yen (rm 22) in japan but 2200 yen (RM 80) in Malaysia. It's very high price to purchase actually

Tbh even a small standee coast rm60 in animate Paradox live badges are rm 30 for 1 which I don't really understand the price It's cheap in yen but they rather sell it expensive in malaysia
