I've been at it for a few months now. You can stand for about 1 second if you do it for a week. Just step forward with one leg, throw another in the air, then lift your other leg. I suggest also doing it on the grass or elsewhere soft. For walking long distances you should fold your legs in such a way that your feet are lower than your knees. This way you can use them for balancing
