She wasn't in the bottom for just being shady, she was in the bottom because for a challenge where she is supposedly talking about her "memoir", the depth of character we get from is "my friend called my makeup ugly once and then my makeup got better"....she talks more about how she sees her competition rather than revealing anything about herself in an interview that is supposed to have her as the subject and not just the interviewee
That is why the penulitmate episode matters so much!! The show spells it out for us that "no, she was not bluffing the whole time"....we get a sense of clarity with her which is the one thing the judges have found difficult with Nymphia: "Ru telling her she is too cerebral in the snatch game" "the critique about her accent"......obviously as this moment of clarity came right at the end, Nymphia needs to absolutely destroy the finale to justify a full winner's edit (as opposed to someone like Sapphira, who ust needs to be good in the finale to justify her win)
I think the best case scenario for Nymphia would be absolutely devouring the finale and annihilate the final lip sync for the crown and still lose (i know it won't be to that extent but something along the lines of Jinx v Monet).....half of the fanbase crying she was robbed + people cannot come at her for taking the crown from someone who arguably did better throughout the show = good vibes and coins for Nymphia after the show ends
(Plus i hope she never comes back for AS whether she loses or not, i am such a stan i hope she gets too big/popular for Drag Race 🤭)

a. the runways!!! not just how accomplished or exciting her garments were but how Nymphia interpreted each theme (the dragged up Butoh costume when everybody else on that runway was dressed for a mini challenge 😳)
b. Love how filthy she gets!! (The vagina on her head, the fire pussy, the mettalic pussy, the 🍌🍌🍌)
c. the mug (imo, only bested by Morphine on the season)
d. a belief that she is gonna eat up the finale performances (can't really base it on anything other than clips i have seen online..P.S. Nymphia come to SF so i get to see you live 🥺)
e. for being stubbornly herself (the bananas, the yellow) throughout the competition even if it backfired multiple times....(also, i cannot believe a chunk of this fandom thinks wearing different colors is showing versatility....it just means the fabric are different colors)
f. for the pure fuckery that a Nymphia win would launch with people tallying up track records (i think people forget that most of the show is just random and not based on any unified logic)
Here's how I see it, while Nymphia's track record on the show is far from the best, I def think she can out perform a lot of the girls left now on a lip sync (search Nymphia Davenport on Twitter, one of the funniest tweets of the year for me😅)

Mhiya- can def out lipsync Nymphia but i don't think they will land in bottom together (Nymphi and Mhiya have never shared any of their top/bottom placements other than the one they won together)

I feel like Mhiya's days are numbered (although i do want her to lip sync her way to the finale, that would be cunt as hell) plus the challenges Mhiya flops at, Nymphia is usually good at and vice versa (altho the only example here is the snatch game)
Saphhira- a finalist for sure (for me sapphira deserves to win, not for the track record but for gagging the production by a bringing a dress too big for the stage!!!)
Morphine - i know they will do my queen dirty (idk but i can see them bringing some BS excuse if Morphine makes it to the makeover challenge, along the lines of "you painted her too good, we don't see her personality, only your professionalism 💀💀)
So unless Nymphia ends up in the bottom with Sapphira (the chances of both fucking up the same challenge is low from what the show has shown us so far) i think she is in the finale for sure....
And here's for the finale, Nymphia does have it in her to pull out the whackiest, craziest and out of box ideas and concepts....and if anyone is pulling a sasha velour this seasons, its Nymphia
So i do see a path for Nymphia winning....although to me, what's really happening is that Nymphia has a clear sense of self as a drag artist, which made her an early favorite but is also hampering her in the competition (let's be honest, most drag race challenges are about capitulating to a sense of mainstream showbiz values, which doesn't really suit for a queer artform built on subversion and a defiance of the classist aspersion for what is traditionally considered "low art")
(Quitting nicotine is hard and made me write all of this in the middle of the night 💀)
Honestly, her persistence with bananas (which i personally see as less of a brand and more as a running motif/authorial stamp, so i know my bias) is the campiest thing this whole season (an artist being obsessed with a thing as mundane and stupid as bananas is more interesting than an artist whose sole objective is just to excel 🤷♂️)
