I can not for the life of my understand why you people are using Cursor or API pricing.

I'm on Codex + Claude Max, $300 /mo total, and I have like 4-8 terminals of both going pretty much constantly 8-10h a day, never hit any limits. I've been running this way for like 6 months. Codex xhigh, Opus, model doesn't even matter. I unsubbed from Cursor in July last year.

If you're scared of the terminal for some reason, they both even have native apps now. And their native harnesses are so much more competent than Cursors one-size-fits-all agent. Wtf are y'all doing on Cursor honestly?

I understand the economics and logic of what you're saying but I get a lot of value from the way Cursor has everything laid out. I can work through plans, docs, code all in one place. In CC I feel like I'm alt tabbing all day. I haven't yet figured out to make CC really work efficiently.

I will say, I used to be afraid of the terminal but I've gotten used to it and I don't mind it. I'm not afraid anymore!

Yeah I'm trying my damnedest to convince my company this as well. It makes no sense to be on Cursor anymore.

The financial difference is irrelevant for my company. Cursor is what we know, so there isn't much of a reason to switch.

I was using the same setup, Claude Max 100 and Codex 20$. However I gave Cursor another try 2 weeks ago, and Composer 2 is actually superb.
