A JUDGE said a woman who used dating apps to meet men then falsely cried rape at least 19 times told a “wicked pack of lies”.

Stacey Sharples, 31, who is facing jail, trawled sites such as Plenty of Fish, Badoo and Facebook Dating, making it clear she wanted sex.

She repeatedly met men and often went to their homes. Afterwards — sometimes without any sexual activity taking place — she would call cops and allege she had been raped.

Sharples, of Farnworth, Bolton claimed she was abused by nine men behind a library in Failsworth, Gtr Manchester on Boxing Day 2013.

She made three more false claims in 2017, four in 2018 and 11 in 2019.

She denied 19 charges of perverting justice in April 2024 but admitted ten counts last month at Bolton crown court.

Nine offences were left on file.

Judge Nicholas Clarke told her yesterday: “Every one of these men are entirely innocent of any criminal behaviour. Their lives have been blighted by the allegations. It was all a wicked pack of lies.”

He called her a “sexual predator” and said she faces prison when she is sentenced next week.

Prosecutor Mark Monaghan said Sharples cried rape if she felt rejected because the victim did not wish to pursue a relationship — or had even refused to give her a lift.

One victim told The Sun he met Sharples in 2019 on Badoo, where her profile had a topless picture.

He said: “Her messages said she was after one thing. She was in my house for about 20 minutes. We kissed then she said she didn’t want to kiss any more. I said no problem and got her a taxi home. Then she phoned and said I really hurt her.”

Sharples rang police and claimed the 40-year-old builder raped and attacked her.

Twelve cops arrested him at his Salford flat, he spent two days in cells and lost his job.

He was later told he faced no further action.

After being bailed he saw her profile on Badoo again.

He said: “It wasn’t the behaviour of someone who had been raped. She is evil.”
