It is the job of the anesthesiologist in the operating room to ensure that the patient undergoes surgery safely. The anesthesiology department provides perioperative respiratory, circulatory, and pain management. Outpatient services include perioperative outpatients and pain clinics. In the perioperative outpatient clinic, we perform a medical examination before scheduled surgery, conduct a preoperative risk assessment, and provide explanations to patients and their families. At the pain clinic, we provide nerve block therapy and drug treatment for various pain disorders (by appointment only).
At this hospital, each department anesthesia is limited to local anesthesia, and other general anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, and transmission anesthesia are in charge of anesthesiology management. We are pursuing improvement in patient satisfaction by combining nerve block, epidural anesthesia, and self-analgesic management to reduce postoperative pain.
