The story of Tobias Knitt is a tale as old as time. A young German man decides that he will become an artist. Initially, his love for the art form is pure, but as time goes on, degrades until it rubs off on him. Balding and alone, he turns to transvestism and fetishism, indulging in his fantasies of young lesbians in love (from vidya, ya.) But in the end, none of the “women” that would date him were women.
Knitting
Tobias has had his old Twitter username, @TobiKnitt, scrubbed from the Wayback Machine. However, in the mist of this, he forgot to scrub his old Tumblr blog URL, knittcartoon.tumblr.com.This reveals that, at the time, he was a fan of people like HotDiggedyDemon, and more importantly, TomSka.
This was around the same time as the death of Edd Gould, creator of the animated webseries Eddsworld. As a result of his death, a crowdfunding campaign hosted by TomSka (real name Thomas Ridgewell) known as “Eddsworld Legacy” allowed the show to continue beyond Edd’s passing.
Tom then discovered Tobias’ artwork on Tumblr, which made him the animator of an Eddsworld mini-episode, “Hide and Seek.”
This would give Tobias enough leverage in the art/animation community that he brags about being able to work on Helluva Boss and on Spongebob twice. Despite this though, he never mentions his work on Eddsworld. Why might that be?
Newgroünds Derangement Syndrome
Tobias is afflicted with a condition known as Newgrounds Derangement Syndrome. To him, the site is as evil as Hitler and the German National Socialists themselves.

But why though?
It’s because he had to pay two dollars to change his username on the site. Due to his newfound autogynephilia, the sight of his real name was too triggering for him. Therefore, this was the necessary move. He wasn’t very happy about it, and this caused him to become an a-log of the site.
His crusade continued when he asked TomFulp (owner of Newgrounds) to add non-binary and other bullshit to the gender selection. Tom’s subsequent answer sparked immense rage in Tobias, resulting in him complaining about “toxicity” and “racism.”
When Tom subsequently ignored his accusations, Tobias accused the site of hosting child pornography with no evidence.
This prompted Chris O’Neill to call him out on his bullshit, resulting in Tobias accusing Oney of being a “transphobe,” and suicide baiting. He didn’t have any of this.
By the end of this, his NGDS (Newgrounds Derangement Syndrome) was in full swing, taking it out mostly on Oney. He would track down Oney’s posts and constantly bash him for benign bullshit or claiming he had been harassed. It obviously worked out in his favour.
His NGDS extends to related media such as Smiling Friends, or, in his own words, “that smiling show,” with him celebrating Total Smiling Friends Death. He states that even hearing the voices of people who use Newgrounds ruins troonslop that he’s even made fan art for, citing Oney’s appearance in The ACKmazing Digital Circus as a “huge disappointment.”

After alleging that Oney would kill him for exposing his “transphobia,” Tobias deleted his Bluesky posts relating to the matter.
Voice Acting and Skinwalking
Tobias proclaims himself to be a wonderful voice actress, and as such has graced the world with a video showcasing his talent. Please let his dulcet tones impress your earlobes.
This isn’t all, as he streams live on Twitch. This is the reason why he has four fucking YouTube channels.
And on these Twitch streams, he decides that he will skinwalk Wallace, for some fucking reason. Please grace your eyes and ears with this footage.

Given his love of Wallace and Gromit to the extent that he would make fan art of it, it is generally assumed that Wallace was one of his favourite characters growing up.
Tobias and Life is Strange
Tobias has a very strange relationship with the game series Life is Strange, to say the very least. It could be inferred that the series was a part of his reasoning to troon out in the first place, mostly in part due to the character Chloe Price. Tobias is in maddening love with the character, to the point he wants to become her.
Chloe is Tobias’ self insert for his fantasies of young lesbian romance, and his idealized coupling of Chloe and Max is what truly turns him on. He is so obsessed with this pairing, that it is nearly everything he draws. This has resulted in people beliving that he himself is Chloe and that Max is his wife!
And of course, do not forget that they are actually real to him.
However, the way he would truly show his undying dedication to this romance in his head would come in the form of his life’s magnum opus, what he believes is the most important thing he’s done in his life. His entire existence was leading up to this.
Partners in Time Crime
Partners in Time Crime is the one thing in Tobias’ life that does not change. Drawing gay fan art of children’s cereal mascots, his crusades against Newgrounds, needing work, or skinwalking Wallace does not distract him from his primary goal in life.

His consistent dedication to drawing his shitty lesbian webcomic resulted in it actually being noticed by Michel Koch, the art director of the Life is Strange series himself.

However, Tobias’ obsession with this coupling is not due to a genuine love for the game. It’s because no real woman would ever want to be with him, and this causes severe mental anguish for our poor hero over here. It is so bad, the lack of a girlfriend-free girl to turn into a wife makes him suicidal.

Conclüsion
Simply put, Tobias is a man that threw it all away in his endless pursuit for something utterly unobtainable. He is willing to make an entire site his pure and utter nemesis so as long as they put an obstacle in his way, no matter the size. Despite him thinking he has bragging rights as a result of working on a children’s cartoon long past its prime, he would much rather chase his fantasy of being a random video game character than have some kind of stability in his life.
