I’m a mayor of a mid-sized city. What should I be using Claude for?

I run a municipality of around 40,000 people. I’ve been using Claude for a few months but mostly for drafting documents, speeches, strategizing and summarizing reports.

I have a feeling I’m barely scratching the surface.

I’m trying to build a genuinely modern, citizen-centered local government with real constraints: limited budget, small team, lots of legacy bureaucracy. But also real ambition.

What would you actually use Claude for if you were the Mayor? Curious about:

∙	Internal productivity (beyond the obvious)

∙	Citizen communication and engagement

∙	Policy analysis and decision support

∙	Anything you’ve seen governments or public institutions do well with AI

Not looking for theoretical stuff. What actually works?

I think cursor rules make the difference. I've been checking a directory dotcursorrules with a few rules and the results are pretty good.

Sim, tem de ser portátil porque por vezes preciso de o levar comigo.
Não é uma frequência muito grande, daí portabilidade não ser um critério determinante, mas é importante que seja portátil.

CRM for small web development company
CRM for small web development company

I run a small web development company and the last couple of years we have been growing to a point that it is becoming overwhelming to manage a few small issues which add up and we’re not as efficient as we could be.

The team is expanding and I want us to address these issues asap so we don’t lose time or money over small things that can be easily fixed.

The main issue is regarding client management and I believe a good CRM software would really help us and that’s what I’m looking for your advice on.

What would be very important for us, besides the actual CRM, are:

  • Recurring Billing

Most of our clients, after the web development, end up hosting with us or we provide them with maintenance, both of these services are based on either monthly or yearly fees. As the number of clients add up, it keeps getting harder to keep track of when a client needs to pay, whether he has already paid. So it would be essential for us that the CRM solution keeps track of recurring clients, ideally sends an automatic email (monthly or yearly) letting the client know payment is due and we can then check it as paid.

  • Follow Ups

This one is not a must-have, but also very important (not sure if it’s standard in most CRM solutions). For leads handling, it would be nice to have automatic follow-up emails a couple of days after a proposal is sent.

For those of you more experienced in software development companies and CRM, we’d love to hear your feedback and also any advice you may have on scaling client management. Thanks!

I appreciate your feedback. I am also using Instagram and Twitter.
However, I think that it's still not enough to engage with those who have no interest in voting and politics.
I think that offline events/campaign may be the way, but I'm not sure how. Any thoughts?

I am definitely doing that, using my photo as a means of communicating to young voters.
My main concern is that I may not get through to them.
Social networks are a great tool. But I feel that I should be doing some offline campaigning specially focused on the young generations. Any ideas on that?

How to reach out to young voters?
How to reach out to young voters?

I am 29 years old and I am running for Mayor in October against the current Mayor who is 70. I believe that young voters have the potential to be my strongest supporters and get me elected. However, it is not easy to communicate with the younger generations, who lack interest in politics. Traditional media doesn't work and I feel that facebook is not working that well. Any advice? What can I do to interact and get my message across to young voters?

  1. I'm not sure I should be answering these. Better ask kitten: http://imgur.com/a/q0Vut

  2. I can't really pinpoint what it is that makes me come back for the latests posts. Is this what addiction feels like?

It's WT time soon and here I am, requesting your help to build a strong team!
This time around I have two options: a SSJ Team and an Extreme Team (for points advantage).
However, in both teams I am not sure about the 6th position (Coora in the SSJ and SSJ3 in the extremes).
Here are my cards: http://imgur.com/a/hdLJH
What are your thoughts?
Note: If needed, I can awaken the remaining URs (PHY Goku, STR SSB Vegeta, PHY Piccolo, etc.)

After getting the same email from them, this was my reply:

"Thank you for your reply.

However, this cannot be regarded as an inconvenience or confusion. This was deceitful and wrong.

I spent hours grinding the World Tournament to earn the gold ticket because I was looking forward for a chance at characters like SSG Goku and Ultimate Gohan.

And I was cheated out of the chance without me knowing. So I wasted my hard earned ticket for nothing.

I appreciate that you are looking into it and fixing it. But it is not enough for me and all the other players who were harmed.

I believe that the proper compensation would be to have our gold ticket back so we can summon again and have the character we wrongly won removed."

Yes. I actuallly had pulled the first day of the tournament using the 1st WT tickets, and I got a TEQ Whis.
The pool was fine, it seems the maintenance screwed it up.

I just submitted and inquiry with Bandai regarding this.
This is not fair! I just used my 100 wins ticket to get a dupe Coora (besides the point), without noticing the character list had been changed.
Let's see what they come up with.

Hello everyone, I have been playing for a while and I've got a few URs.
Unfortunately I have a couple of unusable chars (STR SSJ2 Gohan vs AGL SSJ2 Gohan, INT SSJ Gohan vs PHY SSJ Gohan), dupes (INT Gohan I am looking at you) and not that many linkable chars.
I was wondering if you could help me out in building my best team for the WT (placed 1400ish in the 1st). I'm not sure whether I should try to build a team with better links (less URs and smaller cost) or an all-UR team with greater cost (less links).
Here is my box: http://imgur.com/a/VJ7Ao (I will dokkan some if needed, such as Cooler and AGL SSJ2 Gohan). Any advice?
