Urgent: Tunnel Shift Engineer (LTA / MRT)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site inspections and supervise construction works including ground improvement, ERSS, deep excavation, bored tunnelling, tunnel structures, and cross passages.
• Develop and submit method statements, safe work procedures, risk assessments, and progress reports for tunnelling activities.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards and proper site documentation.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on tunnelling operations before project commencement.
• Oversee TBM operations, managing excavation teams and ring-building activities.
• Plan, track, and coordinate manpower, equipment, and site progress to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce safety and environmental compliance through regular risk assessments and job safety analyses.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and authorities to ensure timely project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or Construction Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in LTA, tunnelling, or MRT projects.
• Strong technical expertise in ERSS, bored piling, and grouting works.
• Capable of working under compressed air for cutterhead interventions.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to prepare technical drawings.
• Willing to perform 12-hour shift work at project sites
