So I was surfing through the web and I came across something from Heavy.com. It's an anime parody called "Kung Fu Jimmy Chow", and so far there are two episodes. The style's interesting since it's all in CGI, but I think it's something that's been done before a la Appleseed.

http://www.heavy.com/channel/2294 : Be warned. LOTS of ads.

In any case, it's a parody of all things anime, and it seems to be aimed towards teenagers due to the ridiculous amounts of blood and butt jokes.

So....I'm not sure if it's just me, but do you guys find the parody funny? I watched both episodes, and for some reason I don't think I really got it. It's a satire on all the overblown stuff on anime, but I don't think it really clicked. And I'm not really sure if these guys really did any research on anime or if they just said, "Hey! Let's throw together all the anime cliches that we find funny!".

In any case, enjoy. Or not, if that may be the case.

Does FMA has unrealistic Martial Arts fighting? I don't think so, they should have said Naruto.

EDIT- Once again, an unfunny anime parody by someone who probably saw only 10 minutes worth of anime.

10 minutes of anime + browsing in Hot Topic + a quick look at some anime parody on South Park's, Clerks TAS, that Nickelodeon show, or youtube. Interesting concept in mall store fights and bad villain disguises but poor execution, animation, and a twinge of racism (Jimmy Chow?). It's just too generic when you could really fly with something like the oddity anime fans encounter on a regular basis. Commenting on FMA's violence is inane when one of its leads is a robot that sounds like a grown Japanese woman.

Don,

Heck even in the manga, the fighting is pretty realistic. Guns, alchemy, very little "fu" power. Honestly I'm glad I didn't watch this.

Since I knew that Fox McCloud was gonna be in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, but I don't think if his teammates (Falco, Peppy, Slippy, plus Krystal) would be in it...
A commenter on Jamie Snowden's video stated that PUFFY, the band who did the theme song to Teen Titans, didn't want to work on Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi from the start. That's news to me, @Stumpos!
