Okay, so, I just learned about this short stop-motion anime series called Pui Pui Molcar, and it's all about a world full of Molcars, motor vehicles that also happen to be giant guinea pigs. I saw the second episode of the series on Twitter, where one of them was forced to act as an escape car to a trio of bank robbers (yeah, really) and I loved it. I then decided to look up the show to find out more, and it turns out, they crossed over with the Transformers in a commercial for Rise of the Beasts? Yeah, one of the main Molcars of the show, Potato, was even made into an honorary Maximal?! What?! How does that even work?
ok but his friendly lil smile though??
friendly reminder that sakuya izayoi is canon to the sonic universe
her name is stiletto the fox and i love her.
she belongs to @maurofonseca, and if i remember correctly, she's also based on ran yakumo. her outfit also has dio brando's yellow jacket, and the inspiration is especially clear looking at her first appearance in issue #64 with the green heart on her headband.
she's usually seen around with piccola the cat, who is likely based on the scarlet sisters and chen (considering her two tails in the concept art)
stiletto and piccola's only appearance together after their debut is issue #65, seen behind vector after the chaotix leave back to seaside city.
however, stiletto's most major appearance would have to be in issue #73, seen racing directly next to the babylon rogues during the final event of the clean sweepstakes.
there's concept art that gives a better look at her design here, and it seems to be based on her outfit in the fangame koumajou densetsu with the addition of her scarf from perfect cherry blossom. the addition of her extreme gear being named after sakuya's theme since pofv is also awesome
aside from that, she also appears in a single panel of mimic's story in the annual 2024 comic most recently!
she's honestly my favorite character design in the comics (small bias considering sakuya is my favorite touhou character) and i really hope we get to see more of her at some point lol. it'd be awesome for her to become an actual character like lanolin did but that'll likely stay a dream
...sorry, just gotta check my pulse real quick.
...yeah, no, I'm dead. This announcement just killed me.
Now that's what I call an upgrade. Though, here's to hoping Prime hasn't gained any of the downsides of an Eva since the last time scanned one.
God dammit, I just saw someone on Twitter call him "the Prime behind the slaughter".

Last night, I played a few rounds of Jackbox with some people on a Discord I'm a part of that hosts weekly game sessions. While I was stuck in the audience the whole time (except for a game of Bracketeering that ended prematurely to a server crash), in the end I was able to step into the ring and play some Mad Verse City and laid down some bars. I ended up getting second place behind the host of the night herself, who was clearly the most experience in the rap game out of all of us. Thought I'd share my lines since I'm kinda proud of them.
To promote the release of Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Triton Global Restaurants (or Yum! Brands as they're known today) advertised the film using three of their most famous brands: KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell. The campaign was called Defeat the Dark Side, and was supplemented with advertisements tying the brands into the Star Wars setting, having characters representing each restaurant participate in the Battle of Naboo. However, while KFC had the recognizable Colonel Sanders, and Taco Bell had the adorable Chihuahua, Pizza Hut had... some random delivery girl.
According to storyboards and profiles found on the campaign's promotional website (which can only be found currently on the Internet Archive), her name is Alexis McCay, and before she became a part of the Pizza Hut crew, she worked a few stints at as a slicer (i.e. professional hacker) for Micro-Tech, Inc and as "crowd control" for 2-Rock Concert Promotions. She was schooled around the world, including Hong Kong and Tunisia, knows Taekwondo, and became the youngest female graduate from the Citadel. She's also quite handy with a blaster pistol, as can be seen in the ads.
Whenever people look back on these ads, they usually remember Alexis the most simply for the fact that she was just... there. Sitting next to the Colonel and Chihuahua as if she was on the same standing as the both of them. I mean, they could have used their previous mascot Pizza Head, or even brought back their OG mascot Pizza Pete, but no, they went for some random delivery girl. Such a weird decision.
It’s Waddle Dee Wednesday! Who wants sushi?
I call him... Rick Mundy.
Kirby's Toy Box was a collection of ten Kirby-themed minigames that were released on the Satellaview broadcasting service back in February 1996 as a sort of promotional tie-in for the release of Kirby Super Star. While two of these minigames were simply trial versions of Samurai Kirby and Megaton Punch from Super Star, the remaining eight were all original, and were all ball-themed. From pachinko to baseball to pinball to breakout, it was an easy task given the shape of the series protagonist. One of these minigames was called "Cannonball", and it's premise is simple: in the vein of a classic artillery game, you face off against a friend/CPU opponent and lob Kirby-looking projectiles at each other, moving around and wrecking the terrain as you do.
You play as one of these robotic Rick doubles that people have taken to calling "Robo Rick". Now, I've read that he's supposed to be giant, which I guess would make sense if the Kirbys you shoot out are meant to be actual Kirby size. However, I'd rather he be similar in stature to the original Rick, simply because it amuses me. Besides, with all the Sonic comparisons Rick has received lately, why not bring to attention his own possible version of Metal Sonic? Ready to kidnap that hamster's beloved girlfriend Pick in the name of the Haltmann Empire or something.
I'm sorry, what's the name of his latest skin?

pabsterthelobsterRebloggedOct 14, 2025pabsterthelobsterOct 14, 2025FollowI made another one. Another yokai OC based on @shooks-stupid-stuff's unproduced webcomic. Why? I don't know. I clearly have something wrong with me. Send help. This is Takano, based on the hibagon, which is essentially the Japanese equivalent of Bigfoot. Stocky, hairy and standing around five feet tall, he's something of a health nut, trying to make up for his lack of height by being a real gymbro, spending most of his freetime either lifting weights or running laps as to bulk himself up. When he's not doing that, however, he's usually either helping move boxes around or snacking on a baggy of beech nuts at the general store where he works. He can be a bit full of himself sometimes, and a bit tetchy when people make fun of his height, but he's ultimately a well-meaning dude. Like Wolverine, but not as stabby.I dunno how he relates to my previous OC Hasami. Maybe the general store and hair salon are in the same general area or something? Maybe she runs into him when she goes out to get groceries. Probably ribs him from time to time when she see him stocking shelves or stacking cans with a stepladder. I dunno how he might work in the setting either, given I imagine him living in his family home in the woods. Maybe he commutes to Hell or something, I dunno. It'd probably make for a good workout, right?Hey, don't be rude to him, Hasami.pabsterthelobsterOct 14, 2025...I just realized after I posted this that this character doesn't really read "Japanese Bigfoot". Rather, he reads more "Italian-American jock you'd see in a mafia movie". Might need to make some adjustments to the design, mainly for the face.pabsterthelobsterOct 14, 2025Okay, so, quick design update for Takano to make him look more monke, like you would expect a Bigfoot-esque character to be. Still looks fairly generic, but that can be chalked up to my artstyle. I considered changing his hair color, but went against it. I also considered darkening his skin a bit more, but that in combination with the increased monke-ness would've caused some... unfortunate implications.#[diminutive gym buff] takano#takano#yokai oc#my art21

pabsterthelobsterOct 4, 2025Handful of Hasami HeadcanonsThese are some headcanons I made as a sort of addendum to my post regarding my yokai OC Hasami the amikiri hairdresser. Does it count as a headcanon if it's for my own OC? I dunno, I'm just calling it that for the alliteration. She'll eat anything that's given to her, as she's not really that picky an eater. She's the type of person who asks people if they're gonna finish their food during lunch break. Her favorite snack food is dried seaweed snaps, her favorite drink is carbonated lemonade, and her absolute favorite food is her mother's homemade kakuni bowl. She hates anything bland and uneventful, such as plain cheese pizza or rice porridge. As a child, she would sometimes accidentally cut herself with her scissors during her pranks and would pick at the scabs her injuries left behind and ate them, much to her parents' insistence she not do that. She hasn't fully grown out of that habit in her adulthood, still scratching at whatever cuts she sustains. She burns really easily, her skin getting real pink when she does; as such, she doesn't go to the beach without plenty of sunblock. She also tends to eat the skin that peels off of her when she does burn. (This and the previous one are in reference to real-life lobsters eating their own molted shells for nutritional benefits.)Every now and then, particularly when she's had a bad day, she'll visit the local onsen and take a nice warm bath in the springs to relax. This also results in a burn, but she's okay with it. She prefers being steamy over being sun-baked (oh my).She has a hobby of kirigami, which is a variation of origami where the paper is cut as well as folded. She likes to decorate her room and work-station with them, mostly focusing on symmetrical snowflake or flower blossom designs. She's not much for sports, but on occasion after work, she will go bowling with her kamikiri boss Sendan. He does this with all of his employees, but Hasami is the one who most often accepts. (Coincidentally, there's a term in cricket called a "lob bowler" or "lobster" for when a team's bowler (which is like a pitcher in baseball) tosses the ball in a underarm motion, which I didn't know when writing this. I just made her a bowler because I like bowling myself.)#think i'll do a shook-styled tag for this one#how about...#[mischevious hairstylist] hasami#pretty good right#hasami#amikiri#yokai oc12

Why? Because A. I had reminded myself of this 4koma webcomic idea that @shooks-stupid-stuff has centered around yokai, and B... my username. One Google search later, and I came across the amikiri, a mischievous crustacean-like yokai known for cutting nets. Whether they be fishing nets, screen doors, or kaya (a kind of hanging mosquito net), cutting was their deal. And... let's just say, the creative juices started flowing. And thus, I have created an OC for Shook's planned webcomic setting (which to my knowledge, does not have a name yet, but that didn't stop me).(Don't ask me why the image came out that way, I just don't know.)Her name is Hasami. In her youth, she was a real prankster, running around cutting holes into things as a practical joke. Nets, newspapers, pants... if she could cut it, she would. However, as she grew up, she decided to put her cutting skills to a more practical use and became a stylist at the local hair salon. She works under the watchful eye of her friend and manager Sendan (don't have design for him, but he's a kamikiri, a kind of yokai that specifically is known for cutting long hair), and she rarely acts unprofessional when doing her job... that is, of course, unless that one annoying keukegen customer shows up again with such a massive mess of hair to work with, and with all his tales of misfortune that she didn't ask to listen to, and... oops, was that a little too much off the top? Eh, who's gonna notice? It's not like he's gonna go bald any time soon anyways. For her design, she has dark blue eyes, skin as white as the inner meat of a lobster, and red hair that is tied up in a ponytail in a way that is evocative of a lobster tail, big and poofy that splits down at the tip. She also has a few stray bangs hanging off the front that evokes a lobster's antennae. At work, she wears a purple polo, grey pants, and a white salon cape.I dunno how canon-compliant she is with whatever lore Shook has cooked up for her webcomic, but this is just what I've come up with so far. pabsterthelobsterSep 5, 2025Before the Transformers toyline was released in the west by Hasbro, the toys were originally released by Japanese company Takara for the Diaclone toyline. This included the character of Ultra Magnus, who was initially released as Powered Convoy with a different paint job and additional play features that were removed from the Hasbro release. Now, decades later, one of those play features has been restored, and thus, a new character has been added. This is Deerstalker, an Autobot who comes packaged with the new Missing Link Ultra Magnus toy, which is a 1:1 recreation of the original toy from 1986 re-engineered from the ground up with additional articulation, paintwork, and accessories. Deerstalker is based on the Powered Buggy that was previously packaged with the Powered Convoy set, given a blue repaint to match Ultra Magnus. Prior to this, the original red paint job had been established to exist in-universe as a seperate character named Powerdrive, who acted in service of his master Delta Magnus.Deerstalker had actually debuted a few months ago in the Transformers Generations manga story "Metrowars: Spy". Set before the events of "Scramble City: Mobilization", itself an OVA prequel to The Transformers: The Movie, it follows Deerstalker and fellow Missing Link release Arcee as they investigate a potential Decepticon spy among their ranks who seeks to acquire the plans for the Scramble City project for themselves. In this manga, Deerstalker is characterized as a great detective with tremendous observational skills, but not-that-great interpersonal skills, especially towards lovely fembots like Arcee.#deerstalker#ultra magnus#arcee#transformers#maccadam5
pabsterthelobsterSep 4, 2025In H3VR's Meat Fortress mode, you can build Sentry Guns and Dispensers (but not Teleporters, not yet anyways) just like in TF2, only instead of carrying around toolboxes, you instead deploy them by using the game's Tippy Toys, which are based on real-life deer calls. Enemy Engineer NPCs won't build these kinds of turrets, though, instead constructing a TF2-styled version of the base game's Turburgert. As you can see, they're quite small compared to the standard Sentry Gun.Each of the buildings come in three varieties: RED (which attacks those on the BLU team), BLU (which attacks those on the RED team), and Gray (which attacks members of both), so there are six Tippy Toys in total, and the funny thing is the labels on each toy gives each building a name. Now, this is also the case for every other toy in the game, with such examples being "Fred the Pig" or "Otis the Sheep" or "Darren the Dead Fish". However, this personification of the Engineer's buildings predates the whole Mimi Sentry trend that happened in early 2023 by nearly four years, and I'm surprised no artist has used them for their own creations.Anyways, for RED, we have Scarlett and Denny. For BLU, we have Sapphire and Della. And finally, for Gray, we have Slate and Duffy. Look at that, they're alliterative too! Isn't that clever? I wonder what they'll come up with for the Teleporters.#dispenser#sentry#turburgert#tf2 engineer#mimi sentry#hot dogs horseshoes & hand grenades#H3VR#rust ltd#team fortress 2#TF2#valve12

pabsterthelobsterAug 27, 2025During Team Fortress 2's development, it was initially planned that each of the nine classes would have access to a variety of different grenade types, just as their counterparts in the original Team Fortress did. However, they were cut from the final game due to playtesters spamming them too much and coming to be over-reliant on them.Years later, the VR title Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, & Hand Grenades (or H3VR as is the shorthand) would release a special Valve-approved TF2-themed update for the game, appropriately titled Meat Fortress, which brought the entire stock arsenal into the VR world for players to use. This included the scrapped grenades... well, not all of them. For some classes, they were actually given completely new grenade types instead. The Mount Thunder Buffnade is the Scout's grenade type, a can of gun-flavored energy drink evocative of TF2's own radioactive Bonk! soda, only instead of you drinking it and potentially dying of lead poisoning, you throw it near your allies to give them a speed boost and improved reaction time for 20 seconds. It takes the place of the Concussion Grenade, which dealt no damage but pushed anyone in the blast radius back. The Flash Impact Grenade is the Sniper's grenade type. It's a flashbang that exploded upon hitting a solid surface, and it blinds anyone in its radius. The Sniper actually didn't have his own grenade type in the TF2 beta, but he did have a Flare all the way back in the original Quake mod that wasn't carried over into the GoldSrc remake Team Fortress Classic. The Übernade is the Medic's grenade type, and it makes anyone in it gives all characters, both friend and foe, caught in its radius ÜberCharge (makes them invincible basically) and heals them rapidly for 1.5 seconds. The beta had a Heal Grenade that did the same, except it only healed your allies. And it was a Monty Python reference, which makes it better designwise.#made this in response to the announcement of Pre-Fortress 2 being added to Steam#it's a mod that reimplements the cut grenades from the beta among other things#i wonder if they might consider adding these to the mod in the future#probably not#but it's a fun idea#tf2 scout#tf2 sniper#tf2 medic#hot dogs horseshoes & hand grenades#H3VR#rust ltd#team fortress 2#TF2#valve5
