Congratulations to our AQ Class of 2024!
This year's commencement was truly special. We were honored to welcome our oldest living alumnus, 107-year-old Gerard “Jerry” Schmitt, who joined us on stage to wish the graduating class all the best in their future endeavors. The ceremony was blessed by Most Rev. Salvatore Matano, Bishop of Rochester.
Our Salutatorian Gianna Glasgow and Valedictorian Samuel Rivellino delivered unforgettable speeches that left a lasting impression on us all. We also heard inspiring words from distinguished alumni John “Jack” DePeters ‘69 and Kevin McMahan ’02, who spoke about the importance of perseverance, the power of kindness, and the impact of Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge. The ceremony concluded in true Aquinas fashion with the singing of the Alma Mater.
A heartfelt thank you to our faculty and students who presented or performed at the ceremony, all those who helped in preparation, and most importantly, to all the family and friends who showed their support and helped to make this day so special.
We wish the Class of 2024 all the best and remind them that they are forever part of the AQ family!
