Can the report of Jafar bin Sulaiman rejected?
Claim of some sunnis: Although Jafar bin Sulaiman was trustworthy, but his shi'i beleive leads to rejection of his hadith as it supports his innovation.
Let's navigate this thread to understand this in more depth
Important: Jafar bin Sulaiman was included in Sahih Muslim at 2330a, 131b, 2639e, 2649b, 258, 119b, 470a, 949b, 648b, 898, 1902 and 1810 in

Which clearly implies that Imam Muslim didn't consider Jafar bin Sulaiman among propogator of his innovation.
But Ibn Hajr differed from this overwhelming majority position.
He relied on Ibrahim ibn Ya'qub ibn Ishaq al-Jawzjani for this position that even non-propogator innovator is to be rejected if the report supports his position.
But who was al-Jawzjani?
Nur al-Din ibn Haji ltr, In his work on Ibn Hajar's Nuzhat al-Nazr says:
"He was biased/deviant against Imam Ali a.s" and "he shows prejudice against the Kufans".

1. Jafar bin Sulaiman was not a propogator of his beleive
2. Ibn Hajr's position is based on al-Jawzjani, who's biased against Imam Ali a.s and it this view is rejected by majority of Hadith scholars, and thus, it is rejected.
3. Hence this report's reliability stands intact and accepted by practical concensus of scholars (as claimed by Albani) such as Imam Muslim, Al-Nawawi, Ibn Hibban, Ibn Salah and other contemporary scholars
Conclusion: The claim of some sunnis stands rejected.
