People who are 100% sure they would have hidden jewish people in their houses during world war two and say it with their whole chest are people i do not trust because they clearly have not thought through what that would mean and are more interested in casting themselves as heroes in their Punch a Nazi™️ hero fantasy.

^ this. unfortunately things have gotten to a point that i hear a gentile say they hate nazis and my first thought is no longer “oh good theyre normal,” but instead “do they actually hate nazis, or do they just want an excuse to be violent.” to be fair sometimes they do actually hate nazis, but thats just when they get to be the ones to define what a nazi is.
