Stopped by this beef noodle spot today and it did not disappoint.
The soup was deep, savory, and slightly spicy, and the beef was very tender.
Portion size was great and the price was reasonable.
If you like beef noodle soup, this place is worth trying.
Will definitely come back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - M W.Arcadia, CAJan 18, 2026

This was during their soft opening. There's only one item on the menu right now: beef noodle soup.
When we arrived, we were told there would be at least a 45-minute wait because the kitchen was "backed up." That didn't really make sense since there was only one party ahead of us, and beef noodle soup is usually pre-made broth with noodles added per order. They take your phone number and call you when your table is ready, which is fine.
The meal comes with a choice of drink. Normally they offer all-you-can-drink soy milk, but it wasn't available, so soda was offered instead.
As for the food, it's not the typical Taiwanese beef noodle soup--it's closer to a Chinese-style version. It's not bad, but the broth could be richer and more refined.
Overall, the experience was a bit confusing and underwhelming, especially with the long wait. I'm not sure I'd come back anytime soon, but I might reconsider after they're fully open and more settled.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Edriana T.Temple City, CAJan 17, 2026
They only sell this 1 noodle, Xiangyang beef noodle soup, with 4 spice level (low, mild, medium, very spicy). Soup is very flavorful and spicy. Beef is very soft and easy to chew. Noodles are not the chewy type, they break as soon as u bite it. It's also very spicy, I got mild spicy but it's not as mild as other places usually are. The mild felt more like medium.
They have free soda and water that u just grab from a fridge. And extra noodles are free.
The restaurant is very small and it was full when I came. But they serve fast and people eat fast too since there's only one thing on the menu.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mar 22, 2026
One of the tasty beef stew noodle soup you could find here! The beef however isn't the thick kind, it chopped in smaller pieces for better flavor. The noodle is definitely the right amount of softness. Soup is quite spicy for even just mild hotness. Somehow the AC is on but it's not working properly I'm afraid. I personally felt it's short staffed in the front and the kitchen even though the space could only fit a few tables. Togo could be a better option but it's tasty!

No menu at Lucky Meet in Alhambra as it is a one trick pony. And it's a very specialized pony, Xiangyang spicy beef alkaline noodle soup from Hubei province. And when I say spicy, I mean spicy. Even the mild version is mouth burning. While this sounds like too small of a niche to succeed, the restaurant has been overwhelmed with crowds in the first week.
Lucky Meet replaces Dim Sum Dumpling House and hasn't bothered to change the interior signage, though they did throw a banner over the outside sign.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Jan 23, 2026
They only serve beef noodle but their beef noodle is amazing! I love the noodle, the beef, the soup, and the spicy flavor!

Tasty Meet is still in its soft opening phase so don't expect all the bells and whistles yet as they work out the kinks. (And the inside signage still has the old name, but who cares if the food is good imo)
I came for dinner at 4:50pm on a Sunday. 0 wait to be seated, the server even let us on early to sit even if they weren't officially open until 5pm. The food came out pretty quick.
Still only 1 item on the menu for now. the beef noodle soup, but they now offer 3 levels of spice, mild, med, and spicy.
I went for spicy and it was good! (Warning I love spicy, go for mild or med if you're not good at spicy)
My friends went with mild and it was perfect for them.
Soft opening special, current you get a free soy sauce egg and a free drink.
14.99 usd per bowl of beef noodle. You can ask for a noodle refill and extra cilantro or green onions.
Soft opening dates and hours:
Lunch 12pm to 3pm. (Last call for orders 2:30pm)
Dinner 5pm to 8pm (Last call 7:30)
Jan 2nd to 18th. (Friday, Sat, and Sun)
After the 3 week period it sounds like they will be closed to do remodeling and then the official opening mid/end of Feb.Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 1
